Hey ladies it's been a long time coming but I'm finally having this surgery done.
I'm 5'4 148lbs. I'll be having surgery with Dra. Duran. I'm trying to move my date up a few days so if any of you ladies are scheduled for 11/26 or 11/27 could you pm me please.

Oh before I forget! Ladies who are preparing for surgery (and even if you're not) this is something that you should incorporate in your diet to increase your iron levels. I'll post pics of it and list it.
1. Maypo cereal (80% daily value of iron in a single serving, 50% folic acid daily value & 50% B6 & 30% B12 and 4g of fiber)
2. Farina enriched cereal (60% daily value of iron in a single serving)
3. Cherrios (45% daily value of iron in a single serving)
4. Guava pulp or guava juice (has 333% daily value of vitamin C & 6% daily value of iron)
5. Beets
And the usual spinach, beans, wheat, brown rice

I eat farina or maypo every morning and add raw sugar or fruits like strawberries and blueberries.

Hope this helps!!

you're welcome if you're anemic I definitely recommend you get the liquid iron floradix. it's a little pricy but it definitely works and fast. first off the liquid iron works faster & is more likely to be absorbed by your stomach than the pill form. Floradix also has all the bcomplex vitamins needed to help absorb the iron.

Welcome & thanks for the info because I'm borderline anemic too, so I will try to incorporate the floradix in w/ the blood builder pills. And I can't wait to see your transformation, make sure to upload pics.

Thanks. These are all easy and good food choices for me especially since I don't like the usual beets, spinach and bean. Will be sure to incorporate it into my diet.

NY OBGYN BY DAY…PS BY NIGHT (PLEASE Read)

User Avatar

Ladies I know Nya Lee shared her surgeon with the world but beware and choose wisely. Firstly know that he is an OBGYN with training and certification in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery, not plastic surgery. I think he just has a certificate to do cosmetic surgeries because he didn't do a residency in plastics. I've seen people quoted from $8,000- $10,000+ up.

**Now I personally wouldn't pay a "surgeon" $10,000 when he's NOT performing the surgery in an operating room with a full staff of physician assistants, surgical technicians etc., let alone an outpatient exam room and without an anesthesiologist. He uses LOCAL anesthesia and the numbing reagent in tumescent fluid (the fluid injected for lipo).
LET ME BREAK IT DOWN.
The reason why surgery is usually so expensive is because facility (hospital operating room) cost money and the staff and anesthesiologist cost a lot of money. So he's already making a nice penny and on top of that he's NOT paying OR fees to a hospital nor is he paying anesthesia fees to an anesthesiologist. Hence, In my opinion that price is too high to not include all of the things I mentioned above. Naaa couldn't be me.

Thought you should know all the sides to the story. Just want you ladies to choose wisely and don't get gipped out here. For the ladies going to him I wish you the best and make sure you get your money's worth.

I took a screenshot of his board certification & malpractice suits etc.

Thank you so much for putting this information out here. I went to see him Dec. 26 , 2014 and talk about unprofessionalism he was late and there was a lady who spoke for him mean while he showed up and gave me a price that I knew had to be wrong. I need to be in a hospital setting and I am so glad that I research all the time. Thank you again .

Vanity Girl within 2 WEEKS | Hassan? McAdoo? Jarial? Decisions!

User Avatar

Hey ladies I have been gone for some time due to life. I did not go to DR for surgery with Dr. Durán. I just grew uncomfortable with the idea of going out of the country for surgery even when I do speak Spanish fluently. It was refreshing to see a large amount of US bbl doctors with great skills and affordable rates arise. I have decided that I am going to have surgery at Vanity. The doctor is still to be determined but it's going to have to be a decision made quickly because I'm having surgery within the next 2 weeks! Ahhh I know! Decisions decisions!

-------------------------VANITY COORDINATOR REVIEW-----------------------------
First I must say if anyone is looking into having surgery at vanity & in need of a good coordinator please look to Yani! She is great and bends over backwards to get you answers even after business hours! I can truly say that Yani is great because between between 2013 and now I have contacted vanity inquiring about quotes for Dr. Salas first & then Dr. Fisher. During that time I dealt with 3 other coordinators who were all turn offs because of their attitudes and lack of knowledge or care. I've dealt with Claudia, Priscilla & Jessica who actually hungup on me then tried to kiss my ass and act as if she didn't. Because of these experiences I was a bit reluctant the least to contact them again. I'm not into giving people my hard earned money if they show zero effort in helping me or at least hell pretend to care about me. Needless to say I broke down and contacted them again after seeing my cousin's results with Hassan & a few others here on realself. To my luck, I received Yani as my first response. She has been such a sweetheart. She is the only reason I decided to continue dealing with vanity.

Preop: 5'4 140lbs
This will me my first and ONLY round.

As for the doctors I am considering they are
-Dr. Hassan (if the Lord makes a way)
-Dr. Mcadoo
-Dr. Jarial (5 star doctor)

Now for some wish pics...actually I only have 1 single wish pic.
When it comes to results my motto is Go big or go home!
I'd rather go too big and work it off then end up too small.

**Also any Hassan ladies scheduled for next week from 1/19-1/23 and need to change dates please let me know!

I look forward to your feedback and to sharing this journey with you all! :)
