****YILY JAN 2014!!! ****

Hey ladies!!! so i cannot begin to tell you how upset i am with her staff!!! I took 3 weeks off from work bc i need time to get better. Of course, i needed the proper documentation which i sent to Yilys staff 1 MONTH AGO. Instead of the back and forth with them, because filling out paperwork seems like an impossible task over there, i settled for a SIMPLE letter that said i was going to be out for 3 weeks.

When i FINALLLLYYYYY get the letter it has the WRONG date and a few typos. I email back immediately and ask for a corrected letter. I also called the office and spoke to the person that drafted the letter. ALL OF A SUDDEN she asked for a deposit to be sent so she could fix it. UMMMMMMMMM WTF?? I dont have a problem sending the deposit from the START of this whole process, but don't throw that at me when YOU made the error. As per my emails back and forth with Yily, she said all i had to do was send my flight confirmation and that would be enough to hold my date (which was done MONTHS AGO). The secretary had me on hold for 6 minutes and i just had to call back bc i was wasting my minutes. Nothing was resolved by calling.

So pretty much, today is my last day at work before i leave, still dont have a doctors note to give to mgmt and no way in hell am i sending a deposit so the secretary can fix HER mistake.

Hey ladies!!! So I pretty much have everything I need. Here's my list:

* body wipes
* baby wipes
*arnica gel
*personal hygiene things
* wee wee pads
*Always OVERNIGHT pads (the purple ones)
* boppy pillow
*Calendula Tea (for bruising and inflammation)
* stool softener


Also, i got an email confirming that each room has cable (thank you!!!!!!)

I called Yilys office and was told that I couldn't have Vicodin or Percocet after the surgery- NOTHING WITH CODEINE!!!! Ummmmm so why have I read of other patients popping these pills??? I don't want to deviate from the plan by taking those pills if I'm not allowed. I know what I signed up for, so I'll suck it up. I am, however, bringing my pills with me and I will ask yily one last time lol if she says no, then that's the answer.

I know JM Spa has a salon on site- which I will visit once I'm better. My hair is super curly. I remember last time I went I wished my hair was done bc its more manageable that way. Plussss you can't shower everyday or wash your hair immediately after (duhhhh) so after like 3 days ima look crazy with my curls.

I have the Recovery House locked in. I will be going to Spa Medical JM for 13 days. I know its a long time to stay, but i want to make sure i get all of my massages and see the doctor as many times as i need to. Also, last time i went i had to get a treatment because my blood levels were low and that shaved one day from my recovery/stay. JUST IN CASE that happens again (HOPEFULLY it wont... im taking my vitamins and iron pills) i want to stay in DR for a complete recovery.

The quote i got was $90 per day for a single person or if you have a buddy/share a room its $75 a day per person. I will be sharing a room.

I have the "VIP PLAN" which includes:

* Transportation to and from the airport
* Transportation to and from my Dr. appts.
* My room
* All my meals
* Someone avail. 24hrs for me
* a nurse 24hrs (not a personal nurse- im sure all the girls at the house share this one nurse)
* WIFI

i saw pictures of the house online- its beautiful, BUT i did not see a TV in the rooms- only in the living room. I emailed them and asked because TV is kind of a necessity for killing time lol. I'll let you guys know what they say.

All i had to do to lock in the room was send my flight confirmation, my cell number and my name exactly how its spelled. They did not ask for a deposit.
