I was scheduled for surgery on April 11 Monday at 6:50p.m. With Dr Duran at CIPLA... However, I was given the blue pill & taken into a room with 15+ beige equipment that appeared not working like a storage type room! However, I had woken up 4 times throughout my Liposculture, TT, BBL & fat transfer to face. The first time I had woken up is because of the burning sensation of my abdominal area while Dr Duran & her male assistant was stitching me up! I was flipped over and felt major pressure & burning from the back Lipo then the BBL. I didn't wake up during the arm Lipo, but the last time she was injecting fat intomy face... (She had 5 surgeries that day & finished about 12.00am, she came to our room to say good night) ????
Yes, it's true you have to lay in a pool of fluid/blood ALL night until 10:00a.m.
Dr Duran came to my room around 10:00 a.m. & her female assistant was there, they were talking in Spanish about my abdominal area & back... The tissue died immediately on my stomach before discharge! Dr Duran said do not close my faja & come to her office on Friday.
I arrived on Friday & Duran said,' You can close your faja now. She asked when I was leaving DR & I said on Tuesday April 18 at 1:00p.m. So, I was scheduled to come back the day of leaving to remove the drains!
I felt horrible abdominal area would not stop burning, body felt hot, shivers and had the shakes (like a seizure) that woke me up out of my sleep!
I noticed darken bruises on my abdominal, I immediately stop closing my faja! The nurse at the RH was so freakin nice! She gave me a HUG & said I am so sorry this happened to you! And, I said what?? She won't give me an answer.
April 18 came around slowly. We went to CIPLA, sat in the waiting room & had to remind the secretary, my flight is leaving at 1:00p.m. Finally was seen Duran said,' You don't need another surgery now, but later for the dark areas! I immediately had gotten dizzy with my pulse beating fast, she said,' sit down before you fall (I did). She was putting everything she had in her office on my skin then written a prescription for soap & spray! Also, Duran stressed I did not have enough fat for good results, but wear my faja & hopefully results come later.
I flew home & went to the ER at Kaiser, I had a fever, infection, bacteria & Necrosis! My body was traumatized from the aggressive Lipo that caused the shakes like a seizure that I still have nearly 1 month PO. My Hemo level was 7.2, dx with malnutrition & have to drink ensure. My back is just bones can't run. My arms are sucked thin at the top!
I read posts of people that was BOTCHED & I said ,' that's not going to happen to me! Well it happened to ME.... I am so damn depressed & angry at myself everyday. I swear I am trying to put this behind me & move on, but I am in so much pain everyday & almost a month post-op... I have to get another surgery which is debridement... I not for sure what's going to happen with the fibrosis!
Kaiser said,' Be Thankful Your Alive, but your not out the woods yet! (April 18, which was 8 days PO.)
I am not BASHING DR DURAN, But This Was My Experience! A lesson Learned...
But, she knew as a surgeon you can't DO LIPO & TT on The Abdominal area! The tissue will lose Oxgyen supply.
