I am so tired of people mentioning the women who have died over there but don't mention the fact that ALOT of these women lie and omit important information. Like "hey Dr I just got plastic surgery with Yily months ago" Or their Dr in the US says lose weight or your heart is fluttering and their like "ok ill just go to DR!" Over there if you have the cash...they will do whatever you want. no questions asked...money talks. So if your responsibility to know what u should or shouldn't be doing. It absurd to expect other people to care about you more than yourself. How you care for yourself is properly educating yourself. Why gamble with your life or outcome by relying on others who don't REALLY CARE? The internet has tons and tons of info so if you choose not to do this CRUCIAL step I believe you are lazy and deserve any complication that arises for making such an irresponsible decision. Cipla is SWARMING with patients. Dr cabral office is operating on 18 girls a day. 18!! There is no way in HELL is he the one doing all the surgeries in the OR. I believe that he has other skilled Drs back there doing the work and he supervises and jumps in where he sees fit. There is no way he can do all these women alone even if he were an octopus! You will be sharing a couch in his office with 50 other women...some pre op..some post op..some getting surgery the same day. His skills don't lie...he is popular for a reason because the man does his thing and will snatch that waist. but please don't expect anything else from him after that point...its just unrealistic. Please pay attention to my warnings and be safe

It think the main reason that Cabral gets so much slack is because women go over completely or somewhat ignorant as to what they are getting themselves into and expect others to tell them. HUGE MISTAKE. this is YOUR BODY and you should KNOW 100% what you are doing to it and MORE IMPORTANTLY what to do with it when u "nurse yourself back to health". If you don't:
1) Have a basic understanding of the human anatomy and how it heals
2) hand hygiene
3) proper dressing changing techniques to avoid cross contamination
4) time to recover IN DR (don't hop on a plane in 4 days and expect to be fine)
5) basic knowledge of the lymphatic system and importance of massages
6) knowledge about girdling and for how long and the STAGES
7) Recovery house for assistance (not to learn the above mentioned things because the ladies at most of these houses are NOT medical professionals and make mistakes
8) know that your weight or current health status would not allow you to get what you want done in the states

THEN YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS GOING TO DR TO GET ANY SURGERY.

Dr cabral is a plastic surgeon, you are your doctor. He will give you what you want but its up to you to do the rest. the surgery is 40% the outcome. aftercare is 60% of the result.

The WHOLE purpose of me coming on here to post is really to shed some light on a lot of misconceptions and unrealistic expectation that women have when they go to DR/cipla/cabral. First of as an Dominican American I can tell you that going to DR without speaking the language is not smart. I speak Fluent Spanish and understand the culture. I am also an ICU nurse with YEARS of experience. I picked Cabral because he knows what he is doing NOT because of bedside manner. Let me be even MORE CLEAR for yall who are wondering if this is the right move. In DR the #1 most important thing is $$$$. THAT IS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT. COMPLETELY FORGET:
1) TALKING TO CABRAL FOR > 5 MIN.
2) GETTING ANY POST OP DIRECTIONS AS FAR AS CARE AND WHAT TO DO/NOT DO.
3) SEEING HIM AGAIN AFTER YOU GET SURGERY
4) EXPECTING HIM TO REMEMBER YOU OR HIS STAFF WHEN YOU CALL OR EVEN SHOW UP AT THE CLINIC
5) INDIVIDUALIZED CARE
