It's months away, but I'd rather start collecting what I need now so that I'm not in a rush later. Plus it's around xmas so we all know where that money's going.

I've been a fan of Beaz, Medina and Almonte for years. They all have great reputations, do beautiful work, and are kind to their patients. I would have been happy going to any of them. Dra. Baez's schedule didn't line up with mine and I wasn't able to get a date in January. So I'll need to contact her tomorrow to see if there's any way I can get my deposit back since I wasn't able to get a date.

I contacted Dra. Medina, she had a spot open for me when I'll have time off. She's been a dream to talk to, everything has been easy to set up, and she's very sweet. I love her work and know I'm in great hands. My boyfriend of the last 5 years will be coming down with me. He's less than excited about me getting the surgery. He doesn't think I need it, which is sweet but he understands that I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I'm a little nervous about him seeing me in all my post surgery pain. I know it's going to hurt and hope that she can give me something good to take the edge off.

Originally I was just going to get lipo on my gut but Medina would rather do a tt. I'm really nervous about the scar but am excited about having the flattest stomach I've had ever.

If any of you have had good luck with getting yours to lighten/ kick ass prevention please fill me in on what to do. My Mom got a mommy make over a couple of years ago. She looks amazing but her scar is still pretty noticeable. :/ Then again, I was thinking about getting some tattoos on my torso. Not just on the scar but a lot bigger so that it doesn't look like a tt cover up. Decisions...

I could really use your advice on this.. so I got my quote a couple of months ago and was asked to wait until June to schedule my appointment in December (I've decided since then that January would work best with my job.)

Then I was reading on this site at the end of April that they Dra. Baez's office was already booking for the winter. So I confirmed with the office that they were, and wired my $200 deposit last Wednesday. I asked if they could book me for whatever the earliest date they had in Jan. I didn't hear back and emailed yesterday about dates. They said they don't have the dates for when Dra. Baez will begin surgery.

Right now, I don't know if that $200 is holding a spot for me this January or not. I sent a reply today asking if they could book me for a date like in the middle of the month, nothing back, and I get it, Baez's office has got to be slammed with people's emails. Her work is is just plain gorgeous. And that's why I'm stressing, because I've been dreaming of this surgery for the past couple years.
She's my top pick.

So girls, how you handle this? It's like I don't want to blow the office up too much and have them hate me and at the same time I don't want to miss getting in in January and have to wait another year. :\
