- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

OMG I am so nervous, I finally got my passport! YAY! As soon as I got it, everything felt very real, really fast. All these emotions started overcoming me. I cant believe I am going through this. But I am extremely excited at the same time.
I just called Dr. Almonte assistant Alda and she informed me that a driver will have a schedule of my itinerary and will pick me up and drop me off , to and from the airport; and as soon as I land I will be taken to the clinic for my pre-op test. I will be staying there over night and go into surgery the next afternoon. My surgery is scheduled for 1pm. So far I am very impressed with the organizational skills with Dr. Almonte's staff.
I am so nervous and excited at the same time I have been waiting for this for sooooooo long and now that it is close I am starting to worry and doubt my decision.
I had one worry spell previously and that was due to my mother putting negative thoughts into my head about receiving a surgery out of the country, but that was quickly dismissed after reading a few of Dr. Almonte's patient reviews. But that isn't working now. I guess I have to pray. Yall gotta pray for me, Pray for me , please.

more changes
As I get closer and closer to my surgery, ( I think SX means surgery date) I am becoming more nervous so I decided to call my doctor and extend my time in the recovery house to 15 days instead of 10 days. i just couldn't stop thinking about that 3 hour flight and sitting on my bottom for that extended period of time. i felt that it would ruin my results and i didn't want to risk it . so i had to shell out another $125 dollars to change the flight date another $375 dollars for the extended time in the recovery room OUCH. AND GUESS WHAT I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY STUPID PASSPORT YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UGH!!!!!!!!!!!IM AM SO FED UP WITH THIS DAMN PASSPORT I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is getting real time is going by fast and the money is adding up
OMG... I am only 22 days away from my big date and I still do not have my passport. What is pissing me off is I paid extra money to have it expedited. UGH!! anyway I am reading all these reviews and I do not think I am bringing enough supplies with me. It seems that everyone had to bring an entire suitcase filled with supplies. I am hoping that Almonte's list is so short because she supplies most of our necessities. Anyway I decided to give you a breakdown of most of the things I had to purchase for this trip.
round trip plane ticket from NYC to SDQ $512
passport fees $117
surgery for bbl, tt, and lipo and recovery home $5200
Embrace scar therapy $ 450
miscellaneous supplies ( adult diapers, bruising creams, wipes, nesoprin, vitamins etc.) $60
I did not purchase any new clothes for this trip because this is not a vacation.
my future expenses
Mandatory health insurance- $150
Massages - $25 dollars each x 10days= $250
extra compression garment- 160
I will let you guys know if I had any other expenses while I was down in DR.
