6 months Post Op!

I am officially past the 6 month mark and have recovered beautifully! My scars are almost not visible and my body looks good! Well... i've gained some weight since the surgery of course I haven't started working out because i'm just ridiculous and lazy smh. Recovery was actual just fine, you go through moments with your body but I did wear my faja up until the 3 month and it really does help with the process. I did not get massaged as much as I should have but I did massage myself daily. I do recommend getting massages when you come back from surgery it truly does make you feel better and helps with the stiffness and fluid. My results are good I retained most of my fat and my butt looks great! He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. I was a bit sensitive in my previous post Dr. Diaz is actual like THE MAN! Happy healing to all!

Smoking weed

I just want to be clear that I was talking about not smoking weed atleast 2 weeks in advance. I DO NOT smoke cigarettes or any other tobacco products. If you smoke tobacco you need to stop ATLEAST a month in advance preferably 2 months due to the nicotine. Diaz does suggest NOT smoking weed as well for atleast a month.

its DONE!

Hey Dolls,
Sorry i've been so MIA but i have had A LOT going on and decided to finish all my homework before I came on here and made post that would take days lol ! So LETS CHAT, shall we?!
My surgery is done and was honestly was way less complicated than I thought it would be. But we will get back to that in a second. Lets start from the top.
Upon arrival to DR my driver(Conrad) from my recovery house Serenity 2 took me str8 to Cipla for labs. I had my blood drawn, xrays, a lung specialist came to check my lungs because I smoke weed and they just wanted to make sure my lungs were strong and good! I did not see Diaz until the following day for the consultation and then surgery. The day of surgery Dr. Diaz and I kind of bumped heads at first because his assistant was constantly emailing me saying I didn't pay in full although I clearly sent numerous receipts to prove that I did. She even emailed me at one point and said I was paid in full and then emailed me again saying she cant find the payments. Now, I don't pay when it comes to my money and I PAY WHATEVER I OWE, i'm not that kind of person. Needless to say the constant email shenanigans made me uneasy about the surgery. I mean your already pretty nervous just going to another country to have surgery and the fact that they couldn't figure out the money situation was alarming and kind of added to my anxiety.
Now Dr. Diaz assistant also, told me that as long as I stopped smoking 2 weeks before I would be fine, after speaking with Diaz he said I should've stopped a month prior to because the smoke can effect the fat cells and lipo could cause burning because I didn't give my fat cells enough time to breath(not smoke) lol. And to be honest, I still smoked like the week off, very little but I prayed I wouldn't have any severe burns and that it doesn't hinder my results, because I came for this booty and absolutely planned to leave with it lol... When Diaz asked me what kind of booty I wanted I simple said natural but nice and round, not trying to be anybodies vixen just improved. He told me he would not aggressively lipo me because of my smoking history and to prevent burns. After the consultation I was off the hospital for surgery. I have a very small burn on my back but its basically healed already. Bare in mind i've been smoking weed daily for like 10 years so I'm not mad at that tiny burn at all!
At the hospital I was admitted but my driver did all the talking because NOBODY speaks english (until you get to the operating floor). Once we got to my room, my bestfriend and I had the same thoughts old and outdated, not terrible just not anything we are used to in the states. Diaz stopped by to let me know I'd be in surgery for about 2-3 hours after I was sedated. It seemed like it all went by so fast, next thing I know I was hugging my bestfriend and telling her I loved her because it was time for surgery. As they rolled me on the elevator i had a rush of emotions, previous to that I was fine, anxiety was low but in that moment it got real and I got scared. I did my best to keep a positive attitude but my tears kept flowing. Diaz saw me and rubbed my arms and said, " you're going to be just fine, trust me" and i felt at ease.
Then I was rolled into the operating room given medz through my IV to paralyze my lower body so they could prep me for surgery, I got a big shot in my back but didn't feel it Thank God! I dont remember taking the pill everyone talks about but I do remember another shot in my IV and then I was knocked out. When I woke up I was in my room, my bestfriend said I left the room around 11:30 and did not return until 3:15 she was worried because it seemed longer than Diaz initially. She also said I wasn't talkative I was just starring at the walls, none of this I remember. I don't remember coming to until around 5 something when I checked my phone lol. I felt no pain, just a TON OF SORENESS! Oh jeez the bruising and soreness is VERY REAL. I somewhat slept thru the night, nurse constantly giving me new IV's and medication until the morning . Come morning they basically were refusing to give me medz I guess because the doctor hadn't come yet or you probably only get a certain amount in you full package with Diaz. Nevertheless, I was HIGHLY uncomfortable and sore, off my medz and then the masseuse came to massage me. THAT WAS SOME PAINFUL [RS bleep]! She sculpting you and all but lawd between her and the drain the put in (after surgery) I was going through it. My suggestion ALWAYS have your medication, that was my major mistake. Diaz showed up late, the nurses called him because i was OVER IT and ready to go. He's a nice man but I had more expectations for him and how he handled me, that i'm not really pleased with it, i'm also not very needy like I didnt text him and stuff after surgery I just didnt feel any need to. Dont get me wrong he's a lovely gentleman, kind and attractive but a little more attenion would've been nice... The surgery results so far look good I just feel as though he could have been there EARLY so I could've left and received medication like he said he would. Once he signed me out the hospital I was GONE! It's so HARD to move around at first, your butt is stuffed, the drain is a [RS bleep] and your torso is soooo numb. I had lipo to my flanks, back and stomache then BBL. Although it seemed like alot I was very happy with the results. My butt is high, round and my waist is getting smaller and smaller.... i'm going to follow this story up later. im exhausted after my walk, but today marks almost a week since surgery (July 28 a friday)!! Stay tuned more realness coming..

I have been researching BBLs for years and have been SO afraid to go through with it due to all the criticism i've gotten or negative vibes. Throughout my research Dr. Diaz was always my 1st pick! I heard about him a few years ago and have been following his work. I battled between Diaz and Fisher but ultimately I went with Dr. Diaz. Throughout my years of researching I've contacted Dr. Diaz with questions that he has always answered despite me NOT scheduling the procedure with him. It was only fitting that I go with Diaz when I finally decided enough is enough I'm doing this for Me. In March I put down my deposit and booked my date 7/28/17, which is Exactly 3 months after my birthday! I don't get tax returns lol so I broke my payments down into biweekly increments. Overall my procedure was quoted at $3200. My flight round trip was about $900 as I will be flying 1st class home. Luckily I had a $400 flight voucher from Delta from my last trip to DR !! I booked my own RH that was about $1000 (Serenity 2), I was not impressed with the RH options Diaz had as a package deal so I booked my own. The RH they offered had decent reviews but I fell in love with Serentiy 2 not to mention Liz the coordinator is so sweet and quick to respond to emails ! I actually planned my surgery around Serenity House availability I was not comfortable staying anywhere aside from there. As my surgery date approaches im starting to get more and more anxious. I cant stop looking at pictures of befores and afters or watching testimonials of the procedure. Im legit obsessed at this point! I just cant wait to see how much this changes my body and my confidence for the better !
