The good the bad and the ugly!!!
9 days and still swollen
When planning for your surgery please allow yourself to have plenty of time off from work. I am a pretty strong person when it comes to surgery, but this one is a tricky one I must admit. My doctor was very aggressive with the lipo and didn't hold back (as I requested). Everything from walking, to bending, to using the restroom is a difficult task. I love to wear pajama pants and it is a struggle to even get them on. So do not rush the recovery, just be prepared for a difficult recovery and if it turns out differently, then great. Then hardest part of the day, getting out of bed. My body is so stiff and swollen in the morning. I can hardly open my eyes because they are so swollen. I also forgot to mention that at my last appointment I found out the put 750cc into each cheek. For me that is a lot considering my size. I also purchased a second garment at my doctors office. I also suggest doing this before surgery. Its difficult trying to shower and rush your garment to finish washing and drying. Its best to have at least two.
