Congratulations! You are looking so good. It is very hard to do this...travel + surgery. I thought I had made up my mind on a surgeon, then I saw your review. The surgeon that I am about to book a date with said that I will be okay with just a TT, not a belt lipectomy, but I have so much worry that it won't be enough and that I will need another surgery if I go that way. Dr. Meija has some negative reviews re:post surgery follow up, but not re:surgery itself I think. How long was it for you to get a quote from him? I made my current choice based on experience, education/qualifications, and quality of work in photos and reviews. But I really don't want to need another surgery to fix the same part of my body.

His staff and him personally are amazing. They kept in touch with me consistently after surgery, I can't even believe someone would say anything negative about his follow up care.

I stayed 10 days at Roccio recovery house. I should have stayed 14 that's what I would recommend. My total with recovery house, which includes all your food, and nursing care, transportation, post op garment was 5800.00. He also charged 150.00 for a 30 day insurance which covers any issues you may have, my original quote was 400.00 higher but I didn't end up needing any lipo

I was looking at another Doctor to do the work,but thinking of switching to Dr. Mejia. I will take your direction on a longer stay. Become brave and just do it. Iam just a little Jittery...because I am Older. was not sure if he worked on older woman.

ps... How was the Plane ride home? I am fly into MHT. NH. any tips?

Small world..I grew up in Boston and lived in Manchester for about 3 years.. Not going to lie plane ride was rough. Connecting thru Miami is a nightmare. As long as you request a wheelchair you will be ok. Mine was a messed up situation, the wheelchair never came I ended up walking and was in severe pain and I work for American Airlines

I had my procedures performed by Dr. Luis Mejia in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I can't say enough about how happy I am. Dr. Mejia has truly given me back my self confidence. I was post up gastric bypass and lost 110 pounds. I had so much excess skin and he got rid of it all. I can't wait to get my butt implants. He is amazing and talented and his entire staff were the best including the recovery house.
