I had a duodenal switch at 16 years old. I was 310 pounds and a size 28. I got down to about 180 and was maintaining, so 3 years later I got a tummy tuck and brachioplasty. I dropped another 30 pounds, got married, gained back 67 pounds. Divorced at 30 and have dropped 75 pounds and the smallest I've ever been in an 8/10. I have a lot of excess skin around my thighs, lower back and butt. Even though he doesn't have a lot of reviews, his fb and Instagram work is amazing and he has been very pleasant to talk to. I've been saving for a change.... This is that time. This skin has haunted me for so long. I grew up in TX and now live in Florida. It gets HOT! I never wear shorts, I always wear skirted swimsuits, and I'm tired of being uncomfortable in my own skin.

I have such high hopes with this surgery. I think I will look absolutely amazing once I am fully recovered. I'm probably going to be staying about 10 days in a recovery house and will be alone. I'm very scared about that, but nothing worth having comes easy. I can't wait!

My ticket has been bought, no going back now! I'm going to also pay the recovery hike (DR recovery) so I don't have to carry around as much cash. I am leaving May 2nd from Orlando and will have labs done after I arrive and surgery the morning if may 3rd and staying until the 16th. My hemoglobin was 11.5 back in November, and I've always been so bad about taking my vitamins for a WLS patient, so was at least happy to see it at a "normal level". I've now become more diligent about taking what Dr Eusebio wants, which is vitamin C, iron, vitamin B and folic acid. I take 2-3 poly iron 150 capsules a day and also a dose of Florodix iron booster twice a day.

I also bought an extra Faja (or 2nd stage depending on how swollen I am), pregnancy U shaped pillow to help me be a little more comfortable on my side. Also a backboard, Biocorneum Scar gel, arnica tablets and ointment. I hope those really work, I want that dip!

It's hard to believe in less than 2 months I'll be there. I've been so busy traveling for work I haven't had time to really process that this is happening. That might be a good thing so I don't chicken out! I have a few days off now, so I'll probably begin freaking out soon. Anyone going to be in the DR in early may?

As scared as I am, I know I will always regret it if I don't do this. Now or never! I want the body I was meant to have! So tired of being told "you must work out" or I want to see you in a bikini", knowing that what is underneath is not what I look like with clothes on. I'll post a pic of me with clothes on. Lord knows you've all seen the rest of me haha! So excited to be a Eusebio doll!
