Dr. Miguel Mota is beyond a doctor he is an artist and true top professional in his field.
I believe very shortly he will be one of the best if not “THE BEST” plastic surgeon in DR and I am a walking testament.
I am beyond happy with my results and experience and his bedside manner is warm, comforting, professional, full of knowledge and endearing. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
He is always available (via WhatsApp) and finds a way to clear his schedule to speak with his patients. He also, does not book too many surgeries a day like other surgeons which right away lets you know he cares about his patients. He must allow room on his schedule for consultations, be able to check up on the patients he operated on, and must also allow a feasible schedule to be rested for surgery. That is a great and responsible doctor! Not just booking one patient after the other and making unrealistic promises and endangering their patients welfare for profit.
During my consultation we went over my procedure, a mommy makeover, I expressed I wanted a low scar and that I wanted implants that were not too large but something that would make my breast look more like they were before I breast fed my two children. He understood my requests and offered feedback/input and offered realistic approaches to reach my desired results. We went with a 340 cc gummy implant under the muscle and periareolar incision to lift my breast. My TT was done with a muscle repair that now makes my waist look teeny tiny and I can't believe this is my body that gave birth to two kids!
His wife, Dr. Leticia Renostro (also a plastic surgeon) was also there during my consultation, day of surgery and follow-up appts. That made the experience even better and more comfortable, they are like the power couple of plastic surgery!
Kenia, the doctors assistant, was also extremely helpful and kind. Whenever Dr. Miguel Mota was not available she would let you know and make sure to follow-up and also answer any questions she could re: payments, travel, etc..
After staying 12 days I returned home to the states and Dr. Mota still follows up with me via WhatsApp to see how my progress is going and how my sutures and scars are healing.
I could not have found a better surgeon and would return alone to visit for vacation with my family and to also, profusely thank the Dr and his wife for changing my life and giving me my confidence back as a woman.

First I want to say thank you so much for sharing your journey with us all. He is my doctor and after reading your thoughts it makes me feel good about the choice I made. After speaking with the doctor myself I knew he was a great doctor, and I felt he truly does care. I'm scheduled within the next 3 months and I'm so excited. Thanks again

Surgery went well. I'm one month and a few weeks outs. I'm still sore, but well.

No problem! I decided to go ahead and post the pics as I know when I was on my search for a Dr. it was a extrememly helpful. As for the navel it is one of the last things to heal. So you have to take good care of it. Express any concern you have with Dr. Mota and he will be sure to put them to rest, he is that great!

No I didn't but I do advise if you have any questions, and ask the Dr. first. He will let you know when you are ready to do such things. For example I was so concerned about scarring and I wanted to use silicone strips. Dr. Mota said wait at least 1 month or the tummy tuck sutures would be to sensitive and be irritated by the strips. In exactly 4 weeks. He contacts me via WhatsApp to check on my progress, and ask about my sutures/scars. Wants to see progress pics. At that point he advises that I can now use the silicone strips.
See...he is excellent! So just check with the Dr. if and when ready to make such moves because you might risk making moves that might cause infections

Which I think it's so long however I'm welling to do all that needed to get the best results and healing as possible! I must say honey you look amazing. I absolutely love your TT scar. I'm getting TT with muscle repair plus Lipo, Lipo on flanks, and Lipo on full back. Happy healing to you, and thanks for sharing again.
