I think that you are making the right choice. You might have a hard time finding work on girls your size because you are so tall. I look at the pictures and try to focus on body type more than numbers. I weigh almost 200 lbs but most of my fat is loose and hangy not full and tight so I am really optimistic about my results. The other thing is no matter what you want to get done, Medina will only do what she thinks is safe so keep that in mind. There are lots of reviews from girls that go intending to have the works but return saying she was not willing to do everything given their hemo levels. While you want everything done (me too) you want to get back to those 4 babies most so you have to make sure youre safe. One thing I planned to do and did not was to bring my own blood in case I needed a transfusion. You have more time than me so you might want to arrange it. The Redcross will let you donate to yourself I believe within 6 months of your procedure.

Initially I planned to go to Robles but then one of her patients died and I also noticed that a lot of the larger patients she did surgery on still had a pouch at the bottom. While some girls commented that they liked it and thought it made them look more natural, I want my stomach to be totally washboard flat. If that is not natural looking I dont care I want it to be flat.

I was in love with Duran but she never responded to me and I wasnt willing to pay to contact her. I decided that if I couldnt get a Dr. to respond to me when I was trying to give her thousands of dollars the chances of hearing from her after she had my money was pretty slim. I also liked Almonte but she would not even consider doing everything at once so I decided against her. I like that Medina communicates with me and I also like that she can speak some english, I can speak some spanish but I am not fluent and that makes me feel more at ease.

I also like that she has her own recovery home and that many girls have indicated she follows up after surgery. I dont think that I will be going to DR for another procedure, but I dont think this will be my last surgery so I am trying to get as much bang for my buck while I can. I dont know if you saw but there is a young girl that just got her boobs done by Medina and I think they look very nice.

Congrats on starting this journey. I've started mine also and my date is March 28th and I'm so excited. So true about the reviews they are everything!!!!!! Believe in yourself you can do it!!! Let's be healthy with snatched hot bods together:)

Thank you so much for that blood transfusion info! I had no idea that was even an option! I am so doing that because I have seen where a lot of girls who get the tummy tuck need a transfusion.

And I cant agree with you more! I want to be washboard flat as well! I will check out the pics to see the more recent boob job. I never really tried Duran or Cabral because I hear a lot that they don't actually do the procedures themselves and that's not what im paying for. I really appreciate your opinion because as you know, we spend so much time second guessing ourselves but I know this is what I want. I am working on losing 25 lbs so I can be at my optimal health and weight so I can get everything I want done. I asked Dr. Medina is it safe and she said as long as my hemo levels are good it should be. Thanks love!

I'm scheduled for Feb 4th. I'm currently 205 5'4". I'm trying to lose 20 to 25 more lbs or the most I can before feb. like your self I was nervous because I haven't seen much work from her with larger patients like myself. However, I am very confident good with her. I have looked at Cabral and Duran in AW! They really do snatch the hell out of some waists and do nice bbl, but I didn't feel too safe. I can't wait to post my post op pic! I will continue to follow your updates as well!

Welcome. I am going to Dr. Medina on 11/2 and I am getting the works same as you. Im not sure who else you are looking at but I think she is a very good Dr from all of the reviews I have read. I agree with you 100% about the importance of the reviews so I plan to update mine so people can use it to help them make a decision. The one thing I will say is that some ladies I have seen that have gone in the summer have been miserable in their fajas because it is super hot and they dont really like being binded in the heat. Having said that most people dont like the faja binding in any weather so if that is when you need to go dont worry about it.

As a physician in Phoenix I recently had a very disgruntled patient asking for me to correct. Her issues would be best treated by her surgeon but the cost, travel, time off made her seek care here. Rather then in the D. R. Think about this about 5% of tummy tucks have a post operative hematoma(collection) of blood that needs care within the first 7 days. 3% have a blood clot in the first 10day usually showing up on post op. 5. Wound separation 5%, infection about 3% which shows up between 7-24 days. Pulmonary embolism 3/1000 with possible death if not caught timely. Will you be on blood thinners after surgery to prevent blood clots? These are real numbers let's hope all goes well.
