30 Years Old Mother of 2 Tummy Tuck and Full Liposcuplture Pre Surgery
I will review and update from 3 weeks before to almost 3 weeks later. I decided on Dr. Luis Tactuk of all the other doctors because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and his reviews were good. He is very informative and explained everything to me regarding the procedures and recovery. I purchased my tickets on April 11th to SDQ as it would be my husband and I traveling. I am from a Caribbean island and this was my 1st time traveling to there. I started on Iron and folic acid pills the same day as i bought my ticket in preparation for the surgery. I was more than excited to finally be making my dreams come true. I sent Dr. Tacktuk my travel itinerary and he booked my surgery date. It was suppose to be Monday 2nd May 2016 but he called me a week before to say that that date was a holiday over there (Whit Monday) and the surgery would have to be on Tuesday 3rd May 2016. My husband and I left for DR on Sunday May 1st. I connected in Miami where the flight for DR was supposed to depart at 9:59pm and arrive at 12:12am however it was delayed and I departed at 11:10pm. I sent a whatsapp message to Doc to let him know of the delay. The flight was 2 hours and we arrived at 1:20am. When we arrived we had to purchase a tourist card (1 per person) and stand on the immigration line. A guy standing at the end of the line took the receipt (tourist cards) from us and sent us to an available Immigration Officer. Then we went through baggage claim and then onto Customs. The overall process took about 10 minutes. When we walked into an area where there were many persons waiting for persons off the flight and I saw many persons standing up with name cards. I looked for mine. I hoped I would still have someone waiting because of the flight delay. Then finallyyyy UREKAA. I found a gentleman with my full name on a paper and I shook his hand and he took the bags from my husband and I. He escorted us to his jeep in the parking lot and we began to drive to the hospital. He spoke no words of English and my husband and I barely spoke Spanish. But my husband understood a little Spanish. We arrived at the Hospital after 2am exhausted and ready for sleep. He introduced us to a woman who worked at the hospital and bid his farewell. The lady carried us to our room and brought us some water. Later that morning after 8am our breakfast was brought to us and I communicated with the recovery house and let them know that I was officially in the DR. The hospital upgraded me to a much bigger nicer room. In the next room was a lady from the US who had the same surgery and more 4 days earlier. She was extremely nice and calmed any slight fears and questions i had. She looked so awesome by the way. She explained her surgery and recovery to me up to that point and I was happy in my heart for meeting this pleasant lady. Around noon Dr. Tactuk sent one of his employees to carry us around for the holiday festivities. We stopped for food 1st and then onto the beach and park before returning to the hospital where I was meeting with Dr. Tactuk in person for the 1st time. I walked downstairs with the nurse where I met him. He examined my body and told me what he would do and what needed to happen and the time for the surgery the next morning. He also explained that I couldn't eat after 10 or drink anything after midnight and that his employee was at my disposal if I wanted to go someplace. We left later in the evening for something to eat. We came back almost 9pm and slept in preparation for surgery. Boy oh boy this was my last night in my old body. I know in the following hours of the next day I would become a Tactuk DOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!
Less than a week to go!!!
I've decided on staying at Yasmin/Jasmin rH. Im packing all the medical stuff she told me that I need and what Dr. Tactuk told me that I need to bring. I more than excited and anxious. My dream is really becoming a reality. I am very shy and embarrassed to show what I look like now. But with the help of God and Dr. Tactuk I'm sure I will be a perfect Tactuk DOLL. So here goes.
2 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!
I'm still on the folic acid and iron pills. I'm actually detoxing through a water flush and a slimming tea. I don't smoke but I drink a little. So tryna get all the alcohol and other meds out of my system before the surgery.
