Diode Laser Hair Removal - Underarms
I went to a dermatologist for this procedure and was treated by the PA who specializes in laser hair removal. The diode laser was the best option since IPL does not yield good results.
I had 3 sessions about 2 months apart. The cost was $300 per session and took about 10 minutes each time.
The pain varies depending how high the intensity of the laser is set. The higher the intensity, the better the outcome so I asked her to turn it up as high as I could take to get the job done and if it got to be too much, we would lower it. The pain felt like needles going into my skin for a split second. Almost like a pinch or a sting from a bite. Some parts of the underarm are more sensitive than others. I cold smell the hair burning and the area felt light a lite sunburn afterwards.
