Still happy this is just information

5 months? Post dimpleplasty

5 months later, I am still extremely happy with my dimples… because they’re very prominent and that’s exactly what I wanted.
To be perfectly honest though… I don’t know how they appear to other people but to me it’s obvious that they aren’t natural, because the depth of them is extremely deep and pinpointed in the exact area that was sewn, Also … I still have small indents when I don’t smile. They aren’t ridiculous, or some kind of horror thing, but it also looks like I was pierced there and have a scar…
Again this doesn’t bother me, because it might soften after a few yet and even if it didn’t, I wanted dimples so badly that I would have been fine with a small scar..
But just a disclaimer for those who want their dimples to look 100% natural, this isn’t guaranteed for everyone.
If you’re someone who wanted dimples so bad that you don’t care about tiny scars or indents (which are probably similar or slightly less prominent than piercing scars) then I recommend this procedure to those people
I will also do updates

2.5 - 3 months post op update

they are just as deep now (when smiling) as when I had first gotten them done… I still do have subtle indentations when I am not smiling which just look like I had. Cheek piercings there (other people notice but they don’t bother me as they don’t look as large or as inflamed as actual cheek piercing scars )… I still think it will take another 12 year for the stitch and the cheek to 100 fully dissolve / heal and to see the completed the non smiling result. But overall I am so grateful and don’t know why I waited so long to do this
I am still just as happy
