The dimples are very deep and noticeable - best decision ever

ORIGINAL POST

When I had this done I was worried it wouldn't last or be very effective ; because I hear of many people who get this done who have to re-do their dimples multiple times...
But I wanted dimples so badly for over 15 years so I decided to take the risk and do it anyway...
In my case it was an extremely effective procedure as the dimples are very deep and noticeable... and getting this done was probably the best decision I ever made ... I love them
After having this done I feel much more confident and much more like my "true self" than before ... Because I always saw myself as having them in my mind and now my reality was matching this...
For such a minor
Procedure I'm really happy and would have paid three times more to do this if I had to

@Gentle903295: Way to try and justify your intentional unkindness. She posted about her dimples because that's what SHE chose to "fix" about herself. You were off topic with your braces tangent. Hurt people, hurt people. Kindness - try it, it'll heal your soul. Be well!

@Philosophical2135: I don't know what that blind bat was looking at, but your teeth are actually just fine. They honestly look normal and straight to me. And your dimples turned out very well :)

they are just as deep now (when smiling) as when I had first gotten them done… I still do have subtle indentations when I am not smiling which just look like I had. Cheek piercings there (other people notice but they don’t bother me as they don’t look as large or as inflamed as actual cheek piercing scars )… I still think it will take another 12 year for the stitch and the cheek to 100 fully dissolve / heal and to see the completed the non smiling result. But overall I am so grateful and don’t know why I waited so long to do this
I am still just as happy

5 months? Post dimpleplasty

Philosophical2135
5 months later, I am still extremely happy with my dimples… because they’re very prominent and that’s exactly what I wanted.
To be perfectly honest though… I don’t know how they appear to other people but to me it’s obvious that they aren’t natural, because the depth of them is extremely deep and pinpointed in the exact area that was sewn, Also … I still have small indents when I don’t smile. They aren’t ridiculous, or some kind of horror thing, but it also looks like I was pierced there and have a scar…
Again this doesn’t bother me, because it might soften after a few yet and even if it didn’t, I wanted dimples so badly that I would have been fine with a small scar..
But just a disclaimer for those who want their dimples to look 100% natural, this isn’t guaranteed for everyone.
If you’re someone who wanted dimples so bad that you don’t care about tiny scars or indents (which are probably similar or slightly less prominent than piercing scars) then I recommend this procedure to those people
I will also do updates

Please keep us updated! I'm really struggling to find someone who offers this procedure in Australia. And if they do there is no evidence or before and afters. All that comes up is Dr Kim from Atl. And I'm ready to get this done

Hey I think there are a few places that do it in Australia, Esspecially in Sydney ! I hade mine done at restore cosmetic Melbourne with Dr Michael xu. He was really patient with me as I have a jaw issue as well. Good luck!!

I’m in the exact same position. I would really like to get this procedure going but having a hard time finding a surgeon in Australia. I’ve only seen Dr. Kim’s facial surgery but don’t want to travel to the US

Yea its just so expensive, even for return flights. And I'm so ready to get this procedure. Hopefully the original poster replies but if I find anything new I will msg you

It really wouldn't be necessary to go to the USA as they definitely do it here it just isn't advertised as much as other procedures.

Yes but a big problem is that there is little to no examples of their work. And some I've seen are terrible like like puncture wounds. Yours are beautiful, I may just go to melb as well

But im not suggest Dr xu, i have permanent indent from his procedure. Its been 2 years now
