Day of treatment
Done With My surgery
I had my surgery yesterday, Tuesday March 12, 2015. So far so good! My surgery began at 11:30 am and I was done and was done around 4pm. My surgeon prescribed me vicodin and a muscle relaxer for pain. I have tubes for drainage which has to be changed twice a day. The results from the anesthesia is still kicking in. I was released to come home around 5:45pm.
My wonderful husband is my caregiver. He has my recovery area at home nice and comfortable. I'm sleeping on a recliner on the main level of my home because my bedroom is upstairs.
I will post pictures soon.

5 day Post Op Status
For my 5 day status update:
Followed up with my PS and she removed my drains (yea!!!). Also, she said no need to bandage the scars, instead allow the area to heal (and the protective sealant to come off naturally). Once the drainy wounds began to heal, I can remove bandage and begin to apply antibiotic ointment. My "original" navel had a few stitches as a result of the TT.
Continue to wear binder for compression.
So far so good!
