Here is a couple pictures of the scar. The first one is no makeup. Second is makeup. Keep in mind though that I had the original implant done then a revision within a two week period. He went over the same incision the second time. Also at about 6-8 weeks the incision got irritated and really red. I had my appointment around then and he said one of the stitches like didn’t disolve and it was poking out slightly which was making it irritated like an ingrown hair would. After a few weeks it fell out and healed better. That’s why I think the right side looks more red. Also the before pic I posted yesterday, I wanted to compare with same angle. What a difference!

It’s been a while!

Hi guys! It’s been a while! I’m 3 months out from my revision. I know in past reviews I had mentioned how I was sure if I was happy I got this done or not- overall I am happy! It’s not perfect, but it’s an improvement for sure. I think I was thinking I’d come out with a perfect jawline and chin and truth is it’s not perfect, but it’s just a normal chin! I can still my old chin sometimes, but now just a little bigger. And I still notice some imperfections, like one side sticks out a little more than the other, but my old chin/jaw line wasn’t completely symmetrical anyways so I think I just notice it more with an implant. I will say it changes sooo much in 3 months. I sometimes still think it’s changing! I wish it was as big as it was week 2 lol but what can ya do. I’m adding a couple pics I took today after work and also going to add a before pic- seeing those always makes me happy I went through with this!

It looks so great! I'm getting mine done in early January - could you post updated pictures of the incision? Thanks!

It looks so great! It is definitely a drastic improvement! Your chin itself is more distinct and I can actually see your jawline has a little more definition because of the projection the implant added. I'm so glad you hung in there, I know it was a rough journey but you look fantastic! The asymmetry in the picture is BARELY noticeable and I would say it looks normal bc no one's chin is perfect. So happy for you!

Thank you so much! Looking at before pictures I really notice the difference. Yay! So happy I didn’t give up on it when I was about to lol

Old frontal pic

Here's an old frontal pic. I guess my chin kind of sticks out here too..so maybe it's not as different as I think. I don't know. One day I like it one day I don't. I will say from side view since my swelling has gone down all the way it really doesn't look AS different as I thought it would. Definitely not that much projection. I'll post a side by side pre op then from today

In this side by side comparison, the projection doesn't stand out as much. But in other side by sides, I can definitely see a difference in projection. Sometimes the slightest angle matters.

You are so right, some pictures look like a major difference and some don't. Definitely has to be the angles!

It looks so great though, a major improvement in your face. You're already so pretty, it just compliments your face that much more! I hope you decided to keep it. I have some small things about my new chin that I don't particularly like, but I know it's only ME that sees these small things, and that overall it is a huge improvement on my face :)

Thanks so much! That's very nice of you! I still have it and am becoming more happy with it :) the less I obsess over it the better it is lol. I think my issue was it wasn't perfect, but my chin was far from perfect before! So I need to remember that :)

I am in the same boat. I really like the projection that my chin implant gave during the second week of swelling. It's been two months since my surgery date and there isn't any swelling left. i fid myself hating it sometimes because it could have been better, but there are days where i am glad i did the op because its an improvement.
