A Detailed Rhinoplasty Review
A Detailed Rhinoplasty Review
I am currently 10 days post rhinoplasty surgery, and I felt it was incredibly important to express my experience with Dr. Admire for those in search of honest feedback. First and foremost, I encourage everyone to do their own personal research and take time to understand all the ins and outs of rhinoplasty before even having a consultation. That should be a given. Coming prepared for your consultation is key because it is one of the biggest steps when considering surgery especially when related to your face. Having that inner strength to have rhinoplasty is one thing, walking in the doors of a surgeon's office is another. Come prepared with questions, concerns, and a mind that is open to hearing and learning. When you arrive at Dr. Admire's North Scottsdale office, you are welcomed by a modern and clean environment. It sets the mood immediately. His staff does not have you wait, and immediately takes you back to a private room to begin pictures. When you first meet Dr. Admire, you are welcomed by a calming + confident energy that soothes any anxiousness. He had a no-judgement attitude to my questions and gave feedback to my areas of concern in an understanding manner. Now, I want to be clear, I had met with a couple of surgeons in Beverly Hills back in the day. I opted for filler in my nose at the time. I say that to put this review into perspective for all of you doing your research. Many people think Beverly Hills means you receive the best work and the best surgeon. That is not the case and another reason why I felt comfortable with Dr. Admire. He had zero ego, and truly made my consultation about me. After the consultation, his Coordinator met with me privately to review the cost and all the paperwork details. The price for my rhinoplasty was aligned with the research I did prior. You need to walk into your consultation with a number already in mind.
There is a decent amount of paperwork to take in, but Dr. Admire provides all material for you to take home or review online. Their patient portal made paperwork a breeze because you have full access to all the information whenever you need it. Another important takeaway from this review is one I cannot stress enough, their pre and post opp care instructions totally helped with the seamless steps of surgery prep, care, and healing. Having a solid fitness routine, no smoking, drinking, a somewhat healthy diet, and other points mentioned were key for me. Again, I am 10 days post surgery, my healing has been spot-on and comfortable.
The worst part of rhinoplasty surgery can be managing your own anxiety and thoughts. Weeks leading up to surgery can make the mind wonder. However, I always had full trust in Dr. Admire. Why? We were on the same page when it came to the aesthetic of my nose and what was achievable. As you can tell, I am a very over-communicative person. I showed Dr. Admire images and was detailed about what I wanted. You need to know what you want. And, you need to be on the same page. You will know if you are by the first consultation.
Now, let's talk about scheduling your surgery and time off. Everyone's surgery experience is different, but I only needed about a week off of work. The day of surgery my anxiety was low, and I had a sense of excitement. My surgery was done at the McCormick Ranch Surgery Center. The staff there was awesome. I loved my anesthesiologists. He expressed confidence in Dr. Admire, and truly made me relax before being wheeled into the operating room. Once it was "go time," I was out and woke up in the recovery area by two kind nurses. They were lovely. The first night at home was not bad, but make sure you eat and have plenty of fluids. I had a shake waiting for me in the car when I got picked up from the center. It was from a place in Scottsdale called, Kaleidoscope. It was perfect.
Since my surgery 10 days ago, I have returned to Dr. Admire's office two times for post-surgery review and stitches removal. Follow up pictures were done both times. I am so happy with what I am seeing thus far. There is normal to-be-expected swelling left at the tip of my nose, but any bruising has gone away. I can see where the nose is taking shape. Although I am not posting pictures to this review, because I am a private person, just know I would refer Dr. Admire to anyone seeking plastic surgery.
Five stars for Dr. Admire. Easy Answer.
