52 Yrs Old, Did Both Upper Arms - Destin, FL

After losing over 100 lbs, I still had a lot of fat in my upper arms, and I wanted to reduce the lumpy appearance as well, This is not painless. I cannot imagine doing this on my belly or upper back, in those more sensitive areas. The swelling is extreme and I had bruises all over my arms, then about 3-5 days after when it "thaws" the nerve pain is nearly unbearable. "the pinching" they describe, etc is random and unexpected and you get surges of pain, and it feels like a bad sunburn. One arm was wors than the other. The only difference in what went on is that the Dr. Massaged the arm that is not as bad for a full 2 min.His assistant did the other arm, and probably only for 45 sec. I pointed this out to her, and she refused to acknowledge that it was not long enough, but i think my arm is acknowledging it. I am only 1.5 weeks out, and I DO in fact notice that the fat over my upper elbow is not as bad, and my daughters noted some smoothing, however, I am not seeing this part myself, I think they are trying to make me feel better, but the truth is, they don't let you know how bad the recovery is because if they did, nobody would do it. I honestly would rather recover from normal surgical pain. Pain killers and even tylenol take the edge of of that, but nothing works on the nerve pain. i have do have my blood pressure taken today and it was excruciating. They had to stop, I was in tears. I won't be going for the second treatment, nor will I get my other parts done.
ALSO when I went in I was trying to get my thighs done, be aware the machine is very small, I am a very tall and still slightly heavy in the thighs, something that I am sure i will have to get lipo for now that i have experienced this. I only wear a size 14, i am not obese, Just heavy in the thighs. So, if you are any bigger than a size 12, don't bother with the thigh tip.
I wouldn't recommend this if you are trying to fit into anything for a special occasion, the swelling lasts a long time, and I heard a lady say someone ask her if she was pregnant after the stomach procedure, the inflammation was so bad. They downplay all of it, it is invasive like a car wreck you didn't break any bones or skin in.
I will give a new report after the 3 mos point, and let you know if it was worth it.
You may find it helpful to take photos now, and then again every couple of weeks. Since results can happen gradually, it makes it easier to see the changes.
Good luck and please keep us posted! :)
