I’m 21 years old and my breast were way too large for my frame. I went to my doctor, complained about back pain. He knew I wanted a reduction so he sent me to physical therapy in order for my insurance to pay for it. I did PT for about a month and a half then went back to my doctor. My doctor asked if I wanted to use Dr. Clark since Dr. Clark had just transitioned into Leeward Medical. I went over to Dr. Clark, they did pictures and sent them to insurance. It took about a month for them to get all my information sent to my insurance and I was approved for 100% coverage. I had met my deductible so I only had to pay $200 up front. We picked a date and I went back filled out some paperwork and got the lines drawn on me. The staff at leeward is so sweet and helpful. Donna, I believe the receptionist, would text me and ask me about my surgical dates. The nurses are awesome. His physician assistant, I believe her name is Alexa, is amazing. My biggest fear was loss of sensation in my nipples and he explained that he isn’t taking my nipples off so my nerve ending will all be connected. Nevertheless, I was still terrified as my friend lost sensation in hers. So I go to the hospital about 5 in the morning do, some paperwork, take a pregnancy test and then I’m rolled into surgery. I wake up around 2 or 3 and the nurses talk to me trying to keep my awake. Dr. Clark personally called my mom to tell her he was done and that he felt he did a great job. The HARDEST part is the anesthesia. It’s weird because I had a tonsillectomy the year prior and I took the anesthesia really well but this time I was so nauseous. I get home, climb in bed and try to eat something a couple hours later. I threw up and after that I felt SO much better. Dr. Clark called me that night to see if I was okay and then Alexa called me the following morning. The pain was minimum. Imagine working out really hard that’s how your body feels. I took half a lortab instead of a full one for three days and then I could manage the pain by myself. I luckily still have feeling in my nipples and they look great. Right now the nipples are still healing and you can see the scabs around them but I know they’ll look really good. I went from a 36DDD to probably about a C cup. I look like a lost 10 pounds and gained a figure. I went from a size large in shirts to a size small. I’m so happy with my results and I loved how easy the process was and how awesome the staff was in helping me. I didn’t have any drains or any stitches that needed to be removed so I don’t feel any pain during my follow ups. Just a quick cleanse. You won’t regret going to see him. My mom is even looking at him for a tummy tuck!
