Implant Placement Options
WORTH IT$3,500
Hi 50isnifty1 on the picture above you can see the different options for implant placement.
I am still not sure why, but most doctors in the US choose Under the Muscle or "Sub Muscular" even my doctor mentioned that, I did my surgery in Brazil. I will ask him next week. But if you do a little research on reasons to choose each, you will find that "sub muscular" is usually chosen when there is not much Mammary Tissue to start with, which would make for a very artificial look, but if you do have some tissue and I guess fat to start with, than it is a good way to "hide" the implant. In this case it could be done "Sub Glandular", the most common way when not Under the Muscle, but my PS chose this other way, "Sub Fascial" because the Fascia is very thin, but a really strong tissue, and it keeps the implant out of contact with the glands, and provides more support than "Sub Glandular".
I hope this helps :)

Thank you! I had sub glandular, due to DIEP flap surgery earlier this year. My doc is not keen on sub-muscular placement, and that is fine by me. I like being able to use my pec muscles. Thank you for the explanation!!
You are welcome!!
I know, the surgery itself scared me on its own, so I was really glad when my PS told me the placement he was going to use for me, I read and heard too many stories of excruciating pain by people who did unders. And I also don't like taking meds, so I didn't want to live under the effect of pain killers for a month. So it worked for me!! :)

Forgot to mention a few things on the previous update I made earlier...
At 3 weeks my mom left because I was feeling a lot better, but I couldn't have done it without her!!!
A few days later (a week ago) I took a flight to visit my family, it was only a 2-1/2 hours flight, but I was a bit worried that altitude and pressurization could cause something uncomfortable, but it went great!!
I actually got to hold my 2 months old niece and my 1-1/2 old nephew :) I did use my biceps a lot, trying to keep them away from my chest and from putting too much pressure on my breasts, I guess I succeeded!!
