Wait and See

So I had Dermapen treatment on Friday, I’m writing this on Monday and I wanted to share my experience so far. I decided to try this treatment as I feel that my skin is starting to look a bit old and the texture has deteriorated quite a lot in the last couple of years. I’m 53 and peri- menopausal. I used to get told that I had great skin for my age until recently, nobody says it anymore! The procedure itself was totally painless ( I had numbing cream) but I was very shocked at just how red and angry my skin looked afterwards. By the evening of the same day it had settled a lot . Unfortunately the doctor caught a little vein so I ended up with a black eye, which was a bit of a shame. The next morning however, my skin looked awful! I was covered in spots, little whiteheads and angry red blotches. I put some Sudocrem on the worst bits and hoped for the best. By Sunday morning, my skin was much calmer and the little spots were starting to go. I washed my face with a gentle hydrating cleanser and used a good moisturiser. I did this 3 times yesterday and today my skin feels back to normal. I am hoping that the treatment will improve my skin texture and reduce my nasty little lip lines (they are my main bugbear) I will update you over the next few weeks.
