I am turning 33 in a few weeks, and for probably the past 5 years, I've REALLY wanted filler under my eyes as I have deep eye toughs - deeper than I feel a 20-30 something should have. It's definitely genetics, and looking at pictures of me when I was even younger, they've always been there. As I've aged, they've just become more prominent to the point where I don't even want to wear make up anymore because it all settles there - even with a really good primer.
I've also noticed my 11s between my brows getting bad and the beginnings of wrinkles on my forehead. Sometimes I even see the dreaded myriad of wrinkles beside my eyes when I smile. Those don't bother me enough to do something about it though.
The bottom line is that I am seeing multiple signs of aging that I would like to slow down.
I have a consultation at CaloSpa in Louisville, KY in a couple weeks. I'm hoping they will be able to help me decide what truly needs done to the areas that bother me to bring back some youth to my face.
I chose CaloSpa because I had previously been to the surgery side for a consultation and just really loved the whole staff and felt confident in their knowledge.

Maybe Botox for the 11s and beside your eyes but please don’t do under eye filler. Filler under the eyes is unpredictable and can cause more issues.

Wow I didn’t realize I never posted any updates!! So I am going to post in segments with dates to get caught up.

April 5th, 2022 - Day of injections.
After consulting with my injector, we did decide that under filler was not for me because I suffer from seasonal allergies that make me puffy. She did recommend PRP though, but I wasn’t ready (financially or for the time commitment of the multiple appointments needed).
We decided to let me dip my toes in with Botox. The main focus was between my brows, but I did have a little bit on my forehead I wanted as well. She did a couple units on my upper/outer eye area above my brows to help it all go together better.
The pain was very minimal and more of a flinch every time the needle went it bc I wasn’t expecting it. Afterwards, my face felt WEIRD. The injection sights felt kind of numb and by the time I got home, those ares were slightly swollen.
Photos shown are two days after injections. Obviously no difference because it will take almost a week for me to see any results at all.

Loving the 3 week post “frozen” look

Obviously it eventually set in as expected, but it wasn’t perfect. One brow moved much more than another, but overall I loved it. My favorite part was when the Botox was its stronger around 3-4 weeks. I guess I just love the frozen super smooth look. Usually even when I wasn’t squinting or furrowing my brow, I had hints of muscle tightness between my brows and right above them. I was always constantly trying to get in a better light/angle to take attention away from that. Obviously I was probably the only one who noticed that, but it felt good to be confident that my whole forehead was smooth.
