7 weeks and I feel like it’s already wearing off!
I freaked out at around 7 weeks post bc I started to see animation between my brows again where my deepest line was before. I ended up going back in for my injector to see, and she told me it looked good and was normal animation. I just really wanted it to be completely smooth there for longer.
She injected 4 more units to help get me back to that, and I ended up having her treat my crows feet (not that I have much) just because with my forehead being so smooth, I felt like I needed more smoothness by my eyes as well. We did very little, but I was happy with it since I hadn’t previously deemed it a problem area. She also put in a couple more units to control my brow movement since one was moving much more than the other.
We made a plan for me to come back mid July to redo everything - that would put me at 3.5 months from my initial appointment.

Loving the 3 week post “frozen” look
Obviously it eventually set in as expected, but it wasn’t perfect. One brow moved much more than another, but overall I loved it. My favorite part was when the Botox was its stronger around 3-4 weeks. I guess I just love the frozen super smooth look. Usually even when I wasn’t squinting or furrowing my brow, I had hints of muscle tightness between my brows and right above them. I was always constantly trying to get in a better light/angle to take attention away from that. Obviously I was probably the only one who noticed that, but it felt good to be confident that my whole forehead was smooth.
Wow I didn’t realize I never posted any updates!! Below are lots of updates.
Wow I didn’t realize I never posted any updates!! So I am going to post in segments with dates to get caught up.
April 5th, 2022 - Day of injections.
After consulting with my injector, we did decide that under filler was not for me because I suffer from seasonal allergies that make me puffy. She did recommend PRP though, but I wasn’t ready (financially or for the time commitment of the multiple appointments needed).
We decided to let me dip my toes in with Botox. The main focus was between my brows, but I did have a little bit on my forehead I wanted as well. She did a couple units on my upper/outer eye area above my brows to help it all go together better.
The pain was very minimal and more of a flinch every time the needle went it bc I wasn’t expecting it. Afterwards, my face felt WEIRD. The injection sights felt kind of numb and by the time I got home, those ares were slightly swollen.
Photos shown are two days after injections. Obviously no difference because it will take almost a week for me to see any results at all.
