Scar Caused by Filler Procedure

Dr. Hagerty over filled my under eye area causing lumps, dents and discoloration. I had to walk around for months looking like I had two black eyes while the filler was slowly, incrementally dissolved. After the filler dissolved I was left with an permanent indented scar and discoloration. In subsequent visit while seeking treatment for the scarring Dr. Hagerty was dismissive, aggressive and lacked accountability and transparency. I deeply regret getting filler at this practice. The experience was so distressing and I am broken hearted to be left with a permanent scar.

I am in the same boat right now - but still in the walking around with black eyes phase. I went to a board certified plastic surgeon to be sure I was getting top notch treatment and they suggested Radiesse - and I fully trusted them - now I know this product should never be used in this area. I am now terrified I am permanently scarred, as well. The Dr also flippantly told me to wear makeup - it would go away. It's going on 4 months. I had a Gemini laser treatment to try and help with the redness... close to a month ago. Still waiting to see significant improvement. I hope you get some resolution soon. My confidence has been completely shattered. I'm hyper aware of it all the time - I mean it is on our faces. Good news is we ARE more than these small imperfections... But I understand how heartbreaking it can be to spend so much money on a procedure to have it completely backfire. It's even rough. Sending you lots of love and hope for a resolution!!
