Everyone should have a Derma Roller!

WORTH IT$150
You know how you look in the mirror one day and say “what the hell”? You really take a good look and wonder when you got so old. I recently turned 42 and that is kinda like what happened to me, just image more cussing!
That’s when I searched the web for facelifts, lasers, chemical peels, VI peels, micoabrasion and so forth. Then I came across the Derma Roller. I am a google freak, so it was not long before I was so intrigued. I can do this myself? So I went to my one stop place which is Amazon and found the 5 in1. After googling, u tube videos and picture reviews. It was on.
When it arrived i followed all before and after sanitation requirements for the roller and my face. I used the 1.5. Holy cow, this really hurt!!! But I did my whole face till it was red even though I wanted to cry. Put on the vitamin c and felt like I had a sunburn and looked like it too. Next day face was still reddish. Applied vitamin c morning and night. By the following day, my face was barely pink. And went and ordered numbing cream. I need it!!!
After more studying, I realized I needed to bleed to be effective and needed to order Retinol A serum as well.
So that next Friday night, after following all the sanitation procedures, I apply the numb cream, wait the time and then take it off. Then the thought came “let’s go to town on this like no tomorrow”. And that’s what I did. I dug that 1.5 roller into my skin till I had good bloody needling pricks all over my face just like the videos I saw. The pain this time was felt but definitely a lot more tolerable. Cleaned my face with water and used Rentinol A serum. 30 minutes later applied the vitamin C serum. My face was no redder than the first time I did it.
The next morning my face was slightly red but looked freaking amazing! “Is that me looking back”? Wow. I am HOOKED on this drama roller!
So in three weeks (Dec 26th 2017 - Jan 11th 2018) I have Derma rolled twice and used vit C day and night and the last 8 days starting including Retinol A day and night.
So now I ordered the Dr Pen because I am hooked. This is the best DIY procedure I can o that takes yers off my face. I will start the procedure on my neck and chest soon. This is something I will continue to do and adjust according to my own results and tweak my routine here and there if need be. I believe in Microneedling ONE MILLION %. So yes, this is a great product and everyone should have.
This is my personal routine, I am sure results can very but my results are amazing!
This is my honest review, I paid full price for all my products which totaled a little over $150.00 dollars to get started all included 5in1 Derma roller, vitamin C, Retinol A, numb cream and electric Derma pen. And my photos have not been altered or doctored or filtered in anyway. Hope this helps someone.

Results are not immediate, they are cumulative and take time. The first few days after rolling, your face will probably be swollen and sore, but that subsides and goes away--and is not indicative of any results acheived.
Results do not occur until after the damage caused by dermarolling heals, and new skin is generated. It takes several weeks, to a month or more, before results are acheived, and improvement revealed.
You really shouldn't start out with a 1.5mm dermaroller, way too large! I bought an "all in one" roller with 4 different needle heads, and started out on the smallest, and worked my way up. I now roll every other week, alternating between a .5mm and a 1.0mm, Because it takes about 4 weeks for the skin to fully heal after using a 1.0m, so doing it more often would NOT improve results, and only cause more damage. I started out using smaller needle heads.
I don't recommend using a 1.5mm on your face for home use -- those are actually sold for derma rolling the rest of your body -- such as stretch marks from pregnancy.
Professionals use up to a 2.0 and even 3.0, but are trained to examine your skin, and determine the most appropriate size depending on various factors, such as your skin type, and the thickness of your skin. They also use a lighter touch or smaller needles on thinner, more sensitive areas.
Also, applying a vitamin c serum immediately after dermarolling???? If I did that, my face would be on fire! OMG! Vitamin C is highly acidic and BURNS! Unless, of course, it's been alkalized, which would completely nullify any effectiveness. DO NOT use Retin A for at least a week after dermarolling, unless you enjoy screaming in agonizing pain.
Most professionals (and everyone else) use a Hyarulonic acid Serum for dermarolling--which is actually a facial filler, that doctors inject into your face, to plump it up and smooth out lines. Helps speed healing and build collagen to improve microneedling results.
I personally use Hada Labo Premium, because it contains 5 different types of Hyarulonic acid, of different molecular weights that each penetrate skin at different levels, and it's CHEAP! A 170ml bottle (5.7 ounces), costs about $12 on Amazon. extremely popular Japanese product.
