Well, it's official - I had my pre-op today and I'm scheduled for surgery on April 10, 2015!
I went in thinking I may bail on the MTL, but decided to go through with it after all. It's just so hard to get significant results with a MTL, because you can't put the tension on those incisions like you can with a TT. But the recovery is no easier. In fact, I heard it can be much worse!
I was most concerned about migrating scars and separation of the labia with the MTL. My surgeon reassured me that he had never had that happen with any of his medial thigh lifts, because he securely anchors the incision to the fascia, and because he doesnt put too much tension on the incision. So there wont be as dramatic of a result, but I can "keep my vajay-jay", LOL
Since I have pretty loose and wrinkly skin in my inner thigh, I'm going to do it. Nothing else really gets rid of that... Grrr! Then depending on the results, I may follow up with some InMode/Body Fx (skin tightening) at another PS's office. Or maybe Cellulaze for skin smoothing... Maybe the combo of these will give me more "exciting" results. I'm trying to have realistic expectations...
It sounds like it will be a rough recovery, and I really don't have much help... So I'm going to start prepping now! Ive been typing a list of what to do and get, so I'll finish that up and post it on here for others to read.
Has anyone / will anyone be going through these same procedures? I'd love a recovery buddy!

Am going in for a consult for extended tt , breast aug. and inner thigh lift, will be getting them done towards end of April. I am nervous about the thigh lift the most.my thighs look kind of like yours do.I want those smooth thighs but am on the fence. I hope yours goes smoothly.

I just contacted my PS and said I want to omit the MTL. I just can't get comfortable with the scars. I asked him to do a low "tension" incision for my TT that pulls up on the thigh area. So instead of just pulling tummy tissue down at the incision, it also pulls the tissue below the incision UP. I'll post some pics of what I mean. I'm still waiting for his reply.... I plan to do some InMode radio-freqency (non surgical) treatments to help tighten and smooth skin after the surgery. Im hoping the the combination of the tension suture on the TT and the InMode treatment give me some nice improvement in the medial thigh area. If not, I can always go back and do the MTL later.... I just want to avoid the scars if possible. I hope this doesnt deter you in any way to do your inner thigh lift. Ive read about people who are very happy with their thigh lift results. Will your inner thigh lift have the vertical scar?

I was planning on the hidden scar around the groin no vertical scar. I am still very much on the fence about it, will see what the doctor says during the appointment. It looks so scary and gory on google images :/ he he . Tt is nowhere near as intimidating as a medial thigh lift.

Am wondering if it would be easier to do the tummy tuck with a lower body lift, the. Lipo on the inner thigh after I heal up.

I am 64 and just had my MTL yesterday. I had lost 80+lbs over 40yrs and even thru clean eating and daily exercise that disgusting loose wrinkly skin never left. So I finally made the step. Thought and prayed about it for LOOOONG time. Oddly enough I didn't read any testimonials beforehand. I am learning now that my recovery time will be longer than I thought. But anything worth having is worth waiting for.

Good luck with your surgery! I live in the Denver area and am just starting my research. I'm looking for a GOOD surgeon in the area. I've met with Colorado Plastic Surgery, Dr. Nick, and the seem pretty good. Who have you found in Denver that is really good and experienced with this procedure?

I'm scheduled for a TT and TL in July. Very nervous about legs too. Not sure if it'll make me happy, although I'm not happy now. I figured if I'm getting my stomach done I need to at least try for good results in my legs since they are saggy. Had 3 pregnancies, weighed at most 200, now 130, 43 yo. My legs look like yours, but probably worse. I wish you all the best!

I had tummy tuck thigh lift and lipo on tummy and inner and outer thighs,on March 9th and I am still here in Costa Rica where I had surgery done at Rosenstock clinic by Dr Rashi and Cohen,so far I am very happy,I am still swollen so won't know final results on thigh lift foe a while but my stomach looks great after years of having the loose skin due to large babies.the worse pain is from the lipo also the bruising,no pain from thigh lift or tummy tuck but of corse you need to watch you have to be very careful not to stretch your groin area and keep stitches clean and dry..you will need some help for the first 2 days minimum as your stomach muscles weak so hard to get up after that I was able to get up myself slowly but have as much hell as you can as you need to rest, walk a bit ,rest, eat healthy, rest ,etc simple things will poop you out.,good luck, glad I did it wish I did it sooner:)
