little blue today
Today I'm feeling a little blue. My post op appointment yesterday went great I got my drains out and Everything is healing good. I was just so excited to see that I didn't have that pooch anymore. When I got home and showered I saw my incision is high. I cried and cried. Today I talk to the doc about it of course she was super nice and let me know they go as low as humanly possible and know no one wants a high tummy tuck scar. She said we should look at it next week when I went for my appointment and she would give me more of an idea on if it would shift. I'm so thankful I'm healing great but now I just feel sad about the high scar I'm hoping if it doesn't move down it'll fade and won't be so noticeable.

Congrats on making it to the flat side! Hope to be there soon myself! I have already planned on getting a tattoo over my incision scar. I was told I would have to wait at least 6 months. Not sure if you're in to tattoos at all. You already look great! Happy & healthy healing!

I think you look great. It'll heal wonderfully. That's great you got your drains out. It's normal to feel blue after this procedure. Feel better.

You are looking great and it sounds like you have great support, rest and let everyone take care of you. It is so early to know what will happen with scar but I'm sure it will be perfect!

OMG!!
I had a little more to eat for dinner than I have the past few days because I was hungrier that was a bad mistake now I feel like a can of biscuits waiting to bust!!! Olly molly I won't be doing that again!!!

No not yet it hasn't I've walked and now I'm lying down hopefully it goes away I just feel really swollen. Maybe I should control my mouth lol.
I know if I get hungry you have to eat:() your stomach won't let regular portions in! You must feel awful. Walking a little should help the digestive system move a bit. Feel better.
I totally know where you're coming from! The first two weeks this was such a problem for me, now that I'm starting my third week of recovery I'm finally get a hang of portions.
It's crazy to think that just a few more bites than you should have could make u feel this way. But I'm sure just like you did I'll get the hang of those portions!!
Wear the high waisted underwear. You just pull them to the side..
