I initially had my first rhinoplasty by an ENT due to breathing problems (deviated septum, collapsing nostrils and enlarged turbinates). After going to a few consultations I picked his ENT and decided to have my surgery. Along with the breathing issues I wanted to get my nasal hump removed had the doc suggested deprojection of the nose as well (he said it will look longer after the hump removal and disporprotionate on my face).
When the cast came off I was happy because the hump was gone and I could breath but there was a lot of swelling so it was hard to tell what the final result would be; as time went on the tip of my nose seemed to get larger and I noticed some dents and assymetry in my nose. A few months later i stated having difficulty breathing thru my nose again and I started noticing a few more deformities; inverted V, hanging columella and pollybeak.
I lived with my botched nose for 5 years till I decided that I wanted to do something about it, after a few quick searches I saw Dr. Cote's name pop up a few times. At the time there was only 1 revision rhinoplasty review on here. I ended up making an appointment and scheduling my revision with him within 2 months of my initial consultation.
He made us (my boyfriend and I) feel comfortable and we just knew that he was our guy. FYI, He was the ONLY doc I saw/consulted for my revision. He was patient, professional and answered all of our questions and concerns. His staff Liz, Daniella and all others are super friendly and kind and always there to help.
Dr. Cote is an artist and gave me the most natural looking nose; it exceeded my expectations. He is maticulous and a perfectionist and has an eye for beauty!
My recovery for my revision was smoother and faster than my first, even though my nasal bones were not broken for my 1st rhinoplasty.
It has been a little over a year since my revision and I can still breath thru both my nostrils and I adore the way my nose looks!!!
