First off, let me say that I got my first rhino at a resident clinic and it was cheap. I was young and impulsive and just wanted to get it done. I didn’t think of the consequences at all. After I got it done I actually loved my nose. The swelling hid all of the imperfections that would arise later on.
After a couple of years I started noticing an asymmetry to the tip. One side is more bulbous than the other and one side curves in more. I also noticed that my nostrils were uneven. I told myself that I would get another rhino later in life because I still wasn’t happy with my results.
Recently something in me clicked and I realized I wanted to get one while I was young. I became obsessed with the idea and couldn’t shake it. I knew that it was time. I researched many doctors in the Denver area and had 3 consultations. I ultimately decided to go with Dr. Stephen Weber because I felt very comfortable during our consult, I liked the imaging he created, the price was decent, and he had amazing reviews. He also is board certified in facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty is the procedure he performs the most. He is very kind and never made me feel embarrassed for getting my first rhino at a resident clinic (another doctor in Denver did). I also liked his surgical assistant, Camille. She’s been very attentive to my emails by answering all of my questions.
I’m 6 days out and I could not be more excited! I’ve chosen some images of what I would like my nose to look like, but in general I just want it straight, symmetrical, and for the tip to be refined. Dr. Weber said these requests are not too much to ask for and we should be able to achieve my desires.
My goal is to document my journey so that other prospective patients can see how my experience went with Dr. Weber.
I will attach photos of my nose before my first surgery and after - current day.

First Surgery

Here are some photos of my first surgery. It was not easy. I had lots of swelling and 2 black eyes. Not fun. My doctor did not tell me to take arnica or give me arnica cream either. I don’t remember icing that much. I also did not lay off salty foods or take bromelain. All of this probably contributed to a rougher recovery period. I’m hoping this time will be different! I’ve done lots of research and am stocking up on all the necessities. I will also be icing the [RS bleep] out of my face.
