WORTH IT
First and foremost, I wanted to wait nearly an entire year before I decided to post anything about my Plastic Surgery experience, in order to allow myself enough time to fully heal from my second (revision) Rhinoplasty.
I had originally broken my nose at a young age and never addressed it medically. As I grew older, a “hump” (for a lack of a better word), on the bridge of my nose became evident and it clearly looked uneven. It finally got to the point where I was not only having issues breathing, but also becoming more and more self-conscious of my nose.
I originally met with a surgeon in my hometown who said he could help. Long story short, the surgery went TERRIBLY wrong. The break and condition of my nose was a lot worse than the surgeon had originally expected. Once my cast was removed, we saw that my nose was extremely over-rotated (literally pig-like), and too much cartilage was taken off the bridge of my nose. I was DEVASTATED. The surgeon had told me I needed to wait at least 6 months before a second revision could be performed. That is when I decided to do more research and find a better-qualified surgeon who specialized in plastic surgery revision.
We finally came across Dr. Raval, who had great reviews and strong credentials. He was very understanding of my needs, and I could tell that he truly cared about my extreme situation. He was very straightforward and honest and did not create false expectations, but he assured me he could help improve my nose. He not only helped improve the look of my nose, but he exceeded ALL my expectations and gave me my confidence back. He went above and beyond to help me, when he knew this was an arduous task to take on, but nonetheless, he did an absolutely amazing job. Dr. Raval changed my life for the better, and for that I am truly grateful and forever thankful. When I say I believe he is one of the best plastic surgeons, I wholeheartedly mean it. I wish I would have went to him the first time, because I know he would have done it right, and saved me months of emotional hardship. I would highly recommend Dr. Raval to anyone and everyone.

Did you dr use ear or rib to build up your nose?

Thank you so much!!! I will certainly do that! It is honestly such a relief!

And to answer your question, Dr. Raval was able to rebuild my nose with my same nose cartilage and skin graphs I believe. From my understanding, he didn't have to take from anywhere else (for cartilage).

Your dr is obviously very skilled. Your nose looks beautiful and natural. I bet you can't quite believe what he has been able to do to restore your nose. Have you got grafts in your nose? Congratulations!

He really is! I couldn't believe it either. He told us it would look better but not perfect, but he exceeded my expectations and it turned out better than I could have imagined. I do have grafts in my nose! I'm not sure how many, but he did inform me that there are several grafts in my nose. Thanks again!
