I can't think of a procedure that is more beautifying

WORTH IT$1,600
While I am still self conscious about the scar, I continue to be amazed at how much more balanced and harmonious my face looks now. While I think the scar will continue to improve, and I realize it's only been about 4 months, I do think I'll eventually need a scar revision, but I intend to ask to have another 2 mm or so removed. I think that's conservative enough that it won't make my upper lip disproportionately large, but I really think that a little bit more tooth show and a slightly shorter upper lip would look much better, and of course a not so visible scar.

I personally think you’re perfect at this measurement. Your lips look balanced in size and you’ve got the coveted sexy lips!

what do you think is the perfect length or how many mm is the right amount

I don't think there is a right amount. I guess when you like what you see. :) I think for me, another 2mm would be ideal.

It doesn't help that I'm taller than most people.

Hi Made in China! I am so sorry that your scar is causing you discontent Did you try BioCorneum on it? It is truly the best scar treatment on the market. What did your ps say about your problem? Did he recommend laser treatments? That also seems to help dissipate the residual scar. It’s only three months out, so give it another three months before you freak out. It’s not that bad to me, but it’s your face, and of course you WANT IT PERFECT!!! I’m pretty confident that all of this will resolve very soon hugs Randi

You're probably right :) I hope it will continue to get better. I am using biocornium and have recently also started using vit e oil. My next appointment with my PS will be in December at the six month mark, but he did mention during my last appointment that he didn't think laser would do much and that I should give it time. It just seems so apparent to me, I feel self conscious. He did mention that should I need it I can get a scat revision, which I intend to do at some point because I also think that maybe an extra 1 or 2 mm taken off would look even better. But unfortunately I just can't take the time off work, so it'll have to wait a while.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The real self community has been really helpful to me :)

Hang in there my friend. I understand you’re self conscious of this, but it’s something you are more aware of. Trust me, you’re beautiful and no one is focused on your scar! Go out and hold your head up high, and your soul will fly

Lips still look great and scar is slowly disappearing (I think). I was using biocornium twice a day but I found that it made the mineral powder on my scar cake up, and make it more noticeable. Now I only use it at night. Maybe that's why it's not faded sooner. I can hide it fairly well with a light hand of mineral powder. Though you can see it if you're close enough. Nonethless, when I look in the mirror, I'm so pleased.
