I was bitten on the face by a dog in November. The plastic surgeon did a great job of patching me up but the scar was quite deep. He suggested dermabrasion as a way of smoothing the edges of the scar. I have very fair freckled skin so I opted for a full face dermabrasion with a chemical peel to blend in the edges.
