I did a co2 laser "Madonna" eye lift in February 2013. I sought to minimize dark under eye circles primarily. Treatment was mildly uncomfortable but resulted in horrible burns and scabbing that lasted more than 2 weeks. I was unrecognizable. It's been 2 years and there's still significant discoloration above my eyebrows from the burns. I can't begin to tell you how much I regret having this done!

Nice enough folks, laser tech was named Michelle. Clearly not very knowledgeable about the procedure. Told me my results were "normal". Are you kidding me????

That looks like it was a nightmare to deal with emotionally, too. I'm so sorry. The bit of your face I can see now is slightly pink still, but your eyes look good. A lot of us don't know what a "Madonna" eye lift involves. As one of the original CO2 laser generation, (I had it done in 1998) I, too, had horrific swelling, burns, oozing, dark hemorrhaging beneath skin, and dark redness lasting a few years, followed by a few more years of flushing. I wouldn't recommend it. I felt deep despair for a long time. Good luck to you!

Wow- it looks like you ended up with an infection ( staph- impetigo ) that may have contributed to scarring - but there last photo really looks good considering what you went through.
