Wearing spanx during work day and CG at night. High temps and CG even spanx don't do well together. I've noticed less swelling. Had my appointment yesterday w/my dr said everything was looking good. I'm clear to work out. Last week I did my first 5k race post op and had to fast walk it rather than jog but I was fine with that. I do have an area on the TT which didn't seal right so I might end up having minor surgery to fix that.

Hey guys don't rush it..I am 8 months post-op and it gets better with time. It's completely normal to feel the way that you do...but just know that this is a phase and it will pass....I went through a depression phase especially when I wanted to start working out but couldn't because I got seromas....I don't think we realize that the surgeries that we subject ourselves to are EXTREMELY MAJOR...and as women we ARE NOT USE TO SITTING OUR ASSES DOWN...I know I'm not... rest to me is sitting down folding clothes as I watch lifetime!!!! Just hang in there and give your body time to heal...and YES I can say it now because I'm 8 months post-op but a few months ago I had all types of feelings....just think about all the new clothes your going to sneak off and buy...and how good they are going to look...and might I add THEY ARE GOING TO LOOK HOT!!!!!! Happy healing ladies!!!

Yes, things are going to get better. One thing both Dr's told me. Don't start exercising too early. Give your body time to heal. I know even 5 months later (TT Revision, and yes, he retightened my core) he STILL don't want me doing alot of exercising right now. Light walking, 5 situps/crunches a day..... and as time go on, add more. Just give your body time to heal.....Yes, it get better with time. And please wear your garment. After my first TT I wore my garment for almost a year! to help with the TT and Lipo, but it paid off.... I lOVE my shape!! Hope you start feeling better, and TRY to rest hon. Happy healing.....

Hey hon. I'm good. Gaining weight in my thighs....so I have to walk and do my squats.....I want to get my breast reduced.....they have always been too big for my frame. I'm going to look into that this spring....by April, and maybe some Lipo in my upper back area. How you doing? My TT STILL look awesome!!! Thanks for checking on me.

Thank you Jazmine_01 I'm hoping now that I can really work out my mood changes. I see your last post you're working out too (we can do this). How's everything w your surgery? Are you wearing a CG?
July 24, 2013
Yes we can do this! I'm 10 weeks post op so I've stopped wearing my CG. I look really pretty good in clothes and skinny too, but looking in the mirror w/o clothes makes me still feel like a fatty. Saw my OB/GYN for my annual and told him bout the surgery. He told me that my uterus is tipped forward that's why I've always looked so big when I was pregnant. This is most likely why I'll never also have totally flat abs. I guess that explains much more.

Period

Still waiting on my period it's over a week late. Not sure if the TT procedure delayed it but I'm pretty consistent with it. I can no longer get pregnant so I'm not worried about that. Plus I haven't had intercourse I'm scared of the pain. I'm just worried since I'm always on time.
