I have faced dental issues all my life. I remember going to the dentist since my school days, I had so many cavities and fillings done, many minor treatments to correct the state of my teeth. I had to avoid eating so many things due to this issue. As I grew up the situation started getting worse. Almost 1/4th of my jaw was treated, I had gotten 4 crowns and multiple root canal treatments, after which my teeth were finally in a position to bite.
Just 7 months back, the state of my teeth started deteriorating, my previous crowns chipped off and teeth were sensitive again. All in all, I had a dental crisis. I got it checked by my dentist here in Canada, he examined everything and told me that I needed to get rid of the previous crowns and get new ones. The quote that he gave me was quite expensive, which I honestly did not expect, as he is my regular dentist. So, I dropped the plan to get my treatment done by him.
I decided to search for more affordable options and better dental clinics… went through many websites and reviews. I shortlisted a couple of clinics and visited them, but I received more or less the same quote which wasn’t worth considering. Just a few days later, I had a talk with my cousin in India, as she is a dental student, I told her about the issues I was facing. She recommended that I must check Dentzz Dental as they specialize in cosmetic dentistry and are well known India. Apparently, they rank no1 according to a Times Survey in dentistry which was something that totally swayed me.
I thought of checking their website, I went through the Dentzz reviews which seemed to be good. The only issue was that they were situated in India (Dentzz Dental Mumbai & Dentzz Delhi) and Dubai. I planned to call them to find out get certain information. I called Dentzz Dental, Mumbai (Kemps Corner, Whitehall) Branch to know about their price for dental implants. The receptionist there took the extra time to explain each and everything considering that I cannot visit them for detailed information and consultation. She connected me to Dr. Aakanksha Chandak so that I get a better understanding of what would be my dental treatment procedure and the number of sessions. The doctor at Dentzz Dental was really nice and courteous to speak to me for almost an hour to understand my situation, he asked me to mail him my reports. After the conversation with the doctor, she stated that I would need dental implants for sure and that he would treat gum recession as well. After the conversation, the receptionist quoted the price for the total treatment, and I actually found it much more reasonable compared to the dentists here in Canada.
I am an Indian living in Canada, I shifted here a few years ago with my husband. We visit home once every year and since our trip to India was due, we decided to visit Dentzz Dental in Mumbai as my situation had not gotten any better in the past 3 months. We took an appointment with them for 2 months later, booked the cheapest flight to India and managed our office work and leaves in the meanwhile.
In those 2 months, I had frequent calls with the dentist as I had to take certain precautions before we started the treatment, the doctor was helpful and went that extra mile to guide me before I came to the country. I had to complete certain formalities and send scanned documents which I did, and the receptionist made sure to manage all the paperwork there. 2 months later, the time had arrived and we landed India.
The reason I am writing this blog, is because recently I came across many negative statements about Dentzz Dental, which I could not believe after my experience with them. I even tried commenting on the Horror Story blog, but it did not accept any of my comments. Also, I believe, the blog was put up just to spread negative news about them as it included really ruthless statements which clearly seemed so fake. I have no right to say what is right or wrong and you might think, why would I resort to writing an extensive blog as such, but the sole motive is to share my experience at Dentzz Dental with these guys, and how it changed my life, literally.
Starting from scratch, I'd like to express what my experience has been like with them from the beginning to the end.
The day we reached Mumbai, we were given a call to know if we had landed safely. I had my appointment 2 days later for which they called and confirmed once again, provided me with the address of their Dentzz Dental Kemps Corner clinic, as we were staying in Mahalaxmi at my parent’s place, and Kemps Corner was the closest.
