Toughest Decision Ever Made......

WORTH IT$23,000
My teeth may not look bad but I have 3 bridges and 3 crowns, I have decay under 2 of my crowns. I have a lot of pressure and pain in my teeth and the bottom front have decay. I have good bone mass so implants will work good they will just have to place them strategically to avoid the lower sinus.
I went to a different Dentist then my own and he does all the work except for the denture part. I'm getting the 4 on 4 snap on but seeing others with the six I might check that out instead.
I'm choosing the snap on because I grind my teeth at night and I don't want to ruin them. It scares me to think of no teeth in my mouth but to relive my pain, it will be worth it, I hope :)
I go for imaging and molds on the 3rd of December and then the extractions and implants are done on December 22nd, as I will have two weeks off to heal. It will mess Christmas up but we can celebrate it early.
I went for a second opinion to a oral surgeon and he thinks I should keep my teeth and that I will regret getting them removed, that they can still be fixed. I've had them fixed and spent lots of money on them and I still have pain so I am getting it done but I am scared.
I'm worried about how I'm going to be taking as I answer calls a lot with my job.
I would like some good ideas for soft food for a gluten free diet. I have protein drinks for the liquid diet part.
We'll I wish you all the best in your teeth experiences.

Appointment before surgery

buntney
I had my appointment today, they made the mouth molds, discussed medication which will be prescribe so I have it before the surgery. I will have two relaxation pills to take one the night before the surgery to help me sleep and then one in the morning before I go in. I will have medication that just makes me not asleep but in a altered state of unawareness.
My teeth have been hurting a lot the past few days so I'm really happy to get them out.
I really like my doctor and all his staff, they are all down to earth, friendly
people, he is so easy to talk to and ask question, without feeling like a idiot.

I am very pleased with my decision to go with Dr Coons to do my forum for snap on dentures with the implants, I’m getting the top and bottom done and it’s going to cost 23,000. I love Dr Coons and his staff, they’re all really down to earth people, they answer your questions they are not intimidating at all.
I feel very confident and having the work done and I know that he’s going to do awesome job he is very detail oriented you can tell by his office he’s fixed his office up so well and everything is clean and sterile him he has experience in this work and I’m just very happy and excited it will be done on December 22 and I will have two weeks to recover before I go back to work I think everything will go well I know there’s gonna be some pain swelling bruising but I’m prepared for it, I have ice wraps and Amicable cream to put on my face to help the bruising, if there is bruising.
I am just so ready to be pain-free my teeth have been hurting me a lot and they always do this time a year because of the cold weather.
He will give me the anabiotic‘s and the anabiotic or the rent stuff from my mouth and some pain relief pills so if I need them and a relaxer the night before and before I go into surgery so I will be all relaxed and feel take about three hours maybe 3 1/2 but I’m going to be semi conscious so I won’t even know until it’s all done so I’m excited!

I had the majority of my teeth pulled for dentures. Had I the $ at the time, I'd make the same decision as you :) Anyways, I've had a few other operations & here's my hint for after surgery. Double up and take twice your daily amount of Vitamin C until you're healed. Once I started that, I'd heal in record time & each medical professional always stated they'd never seen anyone heal so fast.
Vitamin C doesn't accumulate & passes right through the system, so it's perfectly safe to double up for the duration. I hope you try it & it works. If it does, pass it along, it's so worth it! Good luck in your surgery & have a Merry Christmas!

Aayn, Thank you so much for the suggestion, I am going to do that for sure I have lots of vitamin C here I have been taking one in the morning and one at night I’ll look up the dosage I think it’s 500 mg and I can double that plus I even have the emergency packets that I could put in water, so thank you so much for the advice! When you have more money you can still get implants and use your dentures that you have to snap them in Or have them put in securely and never take out if that’s what you like. Take care and merry Christmas to you also!
