A Nightmare with Australian Dental Clinic in Hanoi
Kind675443March 9, 2020
I went to Australian Dental Clinic on a Saturday afternoon to do a root canal treatment.
During the operation: the dentist was operating on me and another patient at the same time. And he was using the same gloves and god knows what else on both of us. I could literally smell the other guy's mouth on his gloves. He made me wait for a very long time when my mouth was numb to work on the other patient's tooth. He kept on coming and going and making me and the other guy wait constantly. Clearly since my tooth was already open i couldn't say anything.
After the operation I went home numb but could still feel the pain. To make it short, it's been a month now and I'm in enormous amount of pain in the same tooth.
I went to another dental clinic do a checkup and see why my tooth is so sensitive and in pain and get a second opinion. After many x-rays, the dentist told me that the root canal treatment failed because the other dentist dug in too deep into my roots and the root canal material has damaged my nerves.
I will be in pain for as long and I keep this tooth, unless i do an extraction (pull the tooth out completely) and install an implant which will cost me more than $1000 and the loss of my teeth.
Also a WRONG diagnosis: he said some of my upper teeth also need a root canal which i went to another clinic and got a second opinion and turned out my tooth is completely fine and there is just a little bit decay on the side.
