Was tired of spending money on fillers that didn't last. Decided to try silikon. Had 4 treatments to chin area over two years. Also tried 1 syringe in lips.
My lower face has fallen to the point that I'm going for a chin implant, lower lift and neck lift. Would like to know if anyone has had fat transfer to the same areas.
I have a couple of small lumps, not noticeable by eye , but can feel.
I did try impressions filler to the are last year. Horrible reaction. Swelling and bruising. Like it could not absorb right.

I was wondering if you eve tried restylane for nasolabial folds(smile frowns). Thermage or
ultherapy for chin?

I used to get restylane I my chin, worked really well. Just was expensive and only lasted apps 4 months.

I started using it at 40 or 41 i can't remember.I love it and it gives instant results.
Unlike botox,it takes 10 days or 14 to get full results. Glad you decided to do this instead of fillers. They are very expensive. My restylane lasts 6 months,getting it done in August.
Addicted now.

Hi, anon7226 I also had silikon treatments with Dr. Tzikas and i am now looking for a doctor in Palm Beach that may be able to remove with steroid injection . I don't know if
that is possible, there just doesn't seem to be any good PS in Florida. Please don't let him
talk you into fat injections, Maybe someone else can do fat injections, but he can't. I've already been down that road with him. You read these doctors saying you should go back
to the doctor that messed something up and have them take care of it. I disagree!! They will just mess up something else and you will ultimately have to go to another doctor.

Hi anon7226, No, I haven't really had a chance to search out doctors but I'm going to try. They don't exactly advertise that they have anything to do with silicone. I'll let you know if I find anyone. And please let me know if you find someone.

I've just had a lower neck an face along with a chin implant. Turns out that the silicone has migrated and is causing some puffy lower cheek/jowls. My dr is injecting the area with something (not sure of the name) to try and break it up. I'll let you know if it works.

I would love to know what your Dr is using and if it works. If he does a good job on you I would definitely be interested in seeing him for various things. Thank you.

Hi anon, its me again leo 7. It just went to the bottom of this page and I see Dr. Tzikas
had 5 star ratings on everything. What a joke!!!! You have to wait for hours and if you have questions after the surgery you are really out of luck.

I never had any issues with dr tzikas. Basicially just had the injections. However my dr now said he would not recommend silicone to be used for marionette lines as can migrate and create lumps. Didn't work out for me as after surgery you can now see the silicone bumps... I specifically asked dr T if it was a good idea as I knew down the road I'd be getting a lift.

Hi anon, If you don't have any issues with Dr. Tzikas, why did you go to another plastic surgeon. I thought Tzikas was the person who gave you the silicone injections that hung down on your jowls. By the way you look great after your recent surgery. You look good as a blonde.

I was on the fence, decided to go with dr handal. Something about him just made me feel he would take the best care of me. My primary also highly recommended him.
Dr tzikas gave me silicone injections several years ago in my marionette lines. Just was not the answer for me and now that I've had a chin implant and lift the silicone has move and it causing some areas to bunch up

I was told to get silicone to fill in the lines above the lips. I turned it down fearful that it might move. I was told it was permanent. Even, after hearing it was just little droplets.

hit post too soon.... be careful of fat in the chin area. a facelift and necklift will help... fat will make your chin look broader which is not feminine

Yes, I have had fat transfer. In my case I had it full face, lips etc while getting a mini lift. Everything looked great for the first year but then the fat that was transferred was absorbed by my body so back to the drawing board. A waste of money because it doesn't last.

several years later and wishing id chosen not to do this
so happy for you. I agree on avoiding permanent fillers. I live in Boca raton. Just had a lower lift and chin implant. Beautiful results, however I'd had silicone micro drop injections several years ago to smooth the marionette lines. Now the are making my lower face look lumpy and I regret having had the filler done.
Please keep us posted on your progress! Are you going to try fat transfer first, or go right for the face/neck lift?
