I've lost over 45 lbs, but the more I lose, the worse my belly hangs down and makes me super self-conscious. I also have an implant that has hardened & encapsulated and is starting to cause me some issues and scar revisions needed from a previous lift, so I'm having it all taken care of at once! My father passed away right before Christmas, and and it has been a very difficult time for me so I've decided to take care of me. I'm so excited but also super nervous. I have combed through this site and gotten every tip possible and it has really helped me feel much more prepared. From recovery time frame (which I know varies) to what I need after, all of the reviews have been so helpful. Oh my gosh!!! Can't believe it is 3 days away!!!! Thank you for your encouragement and well wishes! I had lost 30 lbs. by cutting out carbs, eating lean protein and little alcohol but hit a plateau that I couldn't push thru. It was so frustrating! So about a month ago I really took a hard look and noticed all of the things that had preservatives and high sodium & chemicals that still feel under low/no carb diet that I was eating. Things that you eat small amounts of, but really add up, like mayo or salad dressings. I cut those out, started eating smaller amounts but more often (5 times a day 3-4 oz of lean protein) and started walking everyday for at least 20-30 minutes. It really was a break through for me. 2 years ago I herniated 2 discs in my back and went thru several rounds of stetoids & physical therapy, so seeing this weight come off in addition to my mommy makeover, has me super excited! I will definitely keep you posted!

Good luck! I'm day 12 post apron removal and lipo and the difference already is amazing. I can fit into clothes from the 1990's lol. Recovery is hard work but stay positive and keep the big picture in mind and you will be so much happier when it's over :)

Day after tomorrow is the big day!!! I'm having so many thoughts and emotions racing through me! Am I doing the right thing? Will I be ok? Am I being selfish? I know I want this 100% because I am so tired of feeling self-conscious about my belly. I want to feel like me again. I want to have the confidence I used to have. Well, off to bed to try to get some sleep as I have a million things to do tomorrow.
