Feeling great

I feel great now that my wound is healed. Trying to soak in what is left of summer. My scar is pretty white and now I have a new dark scar from my revision. But at least I know in a year it will fade too.

I was very impressed with Dr. Francis Johns knowledge, recommendations on what I should have done, his facility and staff. He was very helpful in aiding in my decision process. I would highly recommend him. I only wish that the Post Op care was a little more involved. Instructions in writing that are more detailed would be helpful. Such has what to expect after surgery (Swelling, drain care, recommendations on bras, how long to wear binder, how long to sleep on back, shower care, bandage treatment, what type of stitches, should I use ointments, etc.,,,)

Wound finally healed

I’m so excited to have a full closed up wound! I can swim and enjoy my pool for these last few weeks of summer.

yes the wound not healing was a big obstacle. it was still way worth it and I would do it all over again! I love that I did a mommy makeover. I feel better at 40 than I have my entire life!

16 weeks healing from revision wound

Well this has been a lot longer than originally planned. I am excited though cause my surgical wound finally started building new skin and healing from within. Hope to be fully closed in the next 2 weeks. Also celebrated my 40th in Vegas a couple weeks ago! Had a great time. Thanks for all the support and to those that have reached out.
