So Happy With The Final Results of My Arm Lift
holymolleyAugust 24, 2018
I came all the way from Mexico in search of an excellent Plastic Surgeon. Though prices in Mexico are so much more cheaper; i was not convinced with the surgeons out that way since tgey could not provide me with a Before & After photo of their work.
Dr. Maida Parkins was highly recommended. I now know why. Her work is nothing less than top notch. The incision so precise and the scar so hidden which was so very important to me. I couldn't be more happier with the final results of my arm lift.
A word of advice. If you want it done right, do it right the first time.

Thank you!
I stayed a week & a half with a friend that lives in Wisconsin & the last week & a half at La Quinta. The hotel was recommended by my Plastic Surgeon Dr. Maida Parkins where i received a discount rate with the hotel due to my surgery with here. I was allowed to fly back to Mexico after 3 weeks.

August 27, 2018 marks 1 Month Post Op.
My scar is fading with each day that goes by & I only started Scar Treatment 4 days ago.
Alot of the credit goes to Dr. Maida Parkins who is excellent in what she does. Thank you for your thin precise state of the art incision.

Hi!! Amazing before and after!!! May I ask which scar treatment your using? I'm having my briachlplasty at the end of the month!

My Plastic Surgeon highly recommended a Silicone Gel for my scar treatment. The brand i purchased from my PS is called Silagen. It's 100 percent pure silicone gel for scars. I was told to apply this gel on my scar twice a day.
I'm on my 6th week Post Op and my scar is fading so fast; i can't wait to see what it looks like in 3 months. I will be posting another picture of my scar when i reach my 2 month time frame (which will be in 2 weeks).
I wish you all the luck with your surgery. I know you will be so happy you did it. Please keep us posted on your progress.
If i can help answer any questions you have, please don't hesitate to ask.
Good Luck!!

My first box (30g) was complementary from my Plastic Surgeons office. I was also able to obtain 2 more boxes free because i had points due to my surgery.
I was told by my PS that this product was costly, but is one of the BEST products for scar treatment. I think i heard them say a box would cost about $75.00 dollars.
I just checked on Amazon and they are asking $187.00 dollars for a box. The reviews on Amazon for this product are awesome.
The name of this product is "Silagen Scar Refinement System".
Note: There are other products similar that cost alot less - ranging from $30.00 & higher. I've seen similar silicone gels at Targets for about $15.00 for a small tube.
Yes, $187.00 dollars is very expensive. So glad i got my 3 boxes at no cost to me.

OMG - I can't afford that! I've been using an $11 tube from Walmart and it is helping a little. I'm sure this one you are using is much better as it is 100% silicone. I'm glad you got some freebies :)

I agree with you casey1638. Believe me i wouldn't be able to afford this stuff either. It's a shame these products are so costly.
But before i received this expensive product i had purchased at Targets a box of "Scaraway" and it says it's 100 percent Silicone Scar Gel at a price of about $13.00 (.35 oz).
Can't understand the pricing of these products unless they come at degrees of better quality/results.

Thanks for the tip - I will check that out in Target. Did you find that worked as well?

I haven't used it yet since i'm only 2 weeks with the Scar Treatment & using the expensive brand first. But a clerk at Target mentioned to me that she used it for her scar & was pleased with the results.

Two Months After Surgery
holymolleySeptember 25, 2018
So happy to report that it's only been 2 months since i had my arm lift surgery and my scars are literally disappearing as each day goes by. Sooooo Happy & Excited!!!!
My Scar Treatment is making all the difference in the world. I am beyond excited to see what my arms will looks like in 3 months, 6 months - or even a year.
I truly believe the credit goes to my Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Maida Parkins, whose thin & precise incision is the reason my arms look this way.

Just a thigh lift - it was a tough recovery for me but not a second goes by that I regret the decision. My arms aren't great so I may do something down the line, but not as of right now.

I have loose skin on my thighs casey1638, but terrified of doing a thigh lift. Going to join the gym and work with weight machines to see if that might tone my muscles in my thighs and fill in the loose flabby skin first. I'm hoping that will give me the results i am looking for. If not, i might do a thigh lift.
Do you really notice a big difference from Before & After?

It was a no brainer for me. It was a choice between saving a buck or pay more and have it done right the first time.
I didn't want my arm looking like a road map. Lol
