First degree burns from IPL

I had sublime RF IPL done on my upper arms. Received what we think is first degree burns. Many months later still showing some light markings. When allowed I used Dermaka, hydroquinine/retin that was made by compounding pharmacist, Vit E oil , coconut oil and exfoliation started after healing . My question is “will these marks ever go away for good”???

Hey I also went and got a photo facial and I got burns all over my face. It so bad. It not 2 months 4days and the scars are not going away. I think some of these place they are not professionals and I see alot of people getting burn due to this type of procedure
They should go away and fade . A Vi peel will help Even out the skin tone .
What is a Vi peel? Thanks!
Did you have it done by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon?
They will definitely go away. Just stay away from sun . Moisturize and scrubs after the scabs fall off. No worries! Give it or take 3-6 months max . Consider this a nice rejuvenation Treatment or your arms :) .
It’s been many months, I have used Rx retin/bleaching cream, Vit E oil, coconut oil, almond oil, Dermaka cream other drs on here suggested and exfoliated!
Julie in what world are first degree burns a nice rejuvenation treatment?

Sbtc sorry to hear you have experienced this. I have read many reviews about burns from laser and I think with time it will improve. I know it’s horrible to have this so visible to you, as well as any pain it is giving you. Sadly Some women have these burns and marks on their faces. I wish you lots of healing and if I were you I would stay away from any aggressive treatment on your skin - including your face. All the best x
I had myself done .looked the same .after peeling I went 4weeks later and the doctor repass everywhere especially where the skin was darker. Everything peeled off let behind beautiful skin .
I had the same type of marks on my arms. Mine was intentional, I wanted to get rid of the sun damage and any possible skin cancers lurking. I’m an Esthetician and I knew it would heal nicely if I treated correctly. I let it heal for two weeks and then did microdermabrasion once a week for a month. Also kept them completely covered all day. They look great now. I’d post a picture if I could figure out how. Good luck to you.
My RF Sublime IPL was done many manyyyy months ago though. There is nothing I haven't tried to get to of the marks, dr even gave me a bleaching/retin cream to ty.
Has the doctor said anything about inflammation? Maybe your skin is still inflamed from the procedure. Which could be stopping the healing from happening.
No hasn't said anything other than giving me Rx for bleaching/retin cream. Just surprised it happened, and hopes within a year they will go away.
