I am three months post-op from my deep plane preservation facelift and CO2 laser resurfacing of my face, neck, and chest. At 65 years old, time and gravity had started creating skin laxity and a downward pull in my mid-face area. I chose to do this for myself because the face looking back at me in the mirror no longer reflected how I felt inside.
My procedures were performed by Dr. Kevin Sadati at Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery & The Aesthetic Lounge.
In my opinion, if you are considering cosmetic facial surgery, it’s important to choose a surgeon who specializes exclusively in the face. That is one of the main reasons I chose Dr. Sadati, as facial procedures are his sole focus. Another thing I appreciated is that he is also an artist who sculpts, draws, and paints, which I feel contributes to his attention to detail and aesthetic eye.
After my procedure, Dr. Sadati arranged for a nurse to drive me home and stay with me overnight. She also took me to my first post-op appointment the following day. I had the option to continue nursing care for a few more days, but I honestly felt able to care for myself and my pets by the next morning. That said, having help during those first few days is definitely comforting and beneficial.
I was also provided with all the skincare products and lotions needed during the healing process. My package included red light therapy treatments and oxygen facial treatments as part of my recovery care.
Everyone in the office, from the front desk staff to the nurses, has been wonderful. They are kind, caring, and genuinely want patients to have a positive experience. Dr. Sadati truly seems to enjoy his work and takes pride in seeing his patients happy with their results.
Even though it has only been three months, I already see significant improvement in my neck and chin area, and I understand I still have more healing ahead before seeing my final results. Recovery does require patience, but I truly trust Dr. Sadati and his staff because they have taken such good care of me throughout the entire process.
I know many people shop around for the lowest price or travel abroad for less expensive procedures. For me, having a local surgeon was extremely important. Dr. Sadati and his team respond quickly, remain available throughout recovery, and support you every step of the way. When making such a major decision, I wanted the peace of mind of knowing my surgeon and care team were nearby if I ever had questions or concerns.
