WORTH IT
I had most of my work done in August 2022. A year later I went back for a temporal brow lift just to add finishing touches to the amazing work Dr. Alemi already did. I’m now one year post the brow lift and almost 2 years post my other surgeries. He gave me so much more than a surgical refresh. He gave me self-esteem, self-confidence, and the ability to feel like I was no longer invisible.. I cannot offer a higher recommendation to an amazing and skilled doctor and wonderful human being.

You know how sometimes you meet someone and you know immediately things are a fit? Well that was my experience with Dr. Alemi and his entire staff.
I had seen several highly recommended surgeons prior to him and although they had the credentials, I walked out of their offices and felt concerned. My first consultation with Dr. Alemi was virtual and I immediately liked him. He then suggested I come to an in-person consult as he wanted to test my eyes for Ptosis. A month later I did that and we figured out that I had Ptosis in both eyes. After meeting him in person and talking about what I wanted and what he felt would give me the best results, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to trust for my face. I booked that day.
The thing I found so refreshing about Dr. Alemi is that he takes the time and actually listens to you. I wanted the works because I really only wanted to do a surgery like this one time (although I'm not against some touch ups further down the road). I also wanted a natural result - a fresher me, and turn back the clock just a bit.
In August I had a deep plane face/neck lift, a lip lift, lower eyes, Ptosis Surgery on my upper eyes, fat grafting and CO2 laser. I did stay overnight at the surgical facility with a wonderful nurse (Althea), and felt great after surgery - no real pain at all. Dr. Alemi uses twilight sedation, so there really is not nausea or hangover feeling that you get with general anesthesia. I did not feel a thing during the surgery at all.
Also - just as a side note, I did have my upper eyes done 3.5 months later - as Dr. Alemi felt that doing the upper eyes the same time as the Ptosis surgery would not work in my case - and a lot of time you get some laxivity in your upper lid after Ptosis surgery so we opted to wait until that was healed before doing the upper eyes.
Recovery was not bad at all. The first set of stitches came out on the 5th day, with more on day 8 and the final stitches on day 12. I was able drive on day 9 and was back at work 2.5 weeks after surgery.
As for my results - I am thrilled. I still look like me, but I am no longer seeing that craggy, tired, RBF in the mirror. My eyes look clear, my skin is glowing and those nasty jowls and turkey neck are gone! Would I do it again with him? In a New York minute! He's talented, caring and kind. So glad I was lucky enough to choose him.
