8 months post deep plane facelift and lip lift

WORTH IT
Lip lift stiffness completely gone, face is more relaxed now. Chin still has a slightly tight feeling but I kinda like it ;) Just feel normal when I look in the mirror and like myself. Very happy to have done it!

amazing

Dr. Malone exceeded my expectations! The whole office is wonderful and welcoming. This was a very hard decision for me to pull the trigger on booking a deep plane facelift, and took me years to fully research doctors and the procedure before I felt comfortable. I had upper blepharoplasty, mini brow lift and facetite trying to stave off a facelift a year and a half prior to this (before I found Dr Malone). But now my jowls and sagging were just too much. I don’t know why I was so nervous, the procedure wasn’t bad at all and recovery was so much easier than I had expected! I researched many many doctors before deciding on her to do it. What made me finally book was at the consultation seeing her in person and the confidence she has, and the many before/after pictures she showed me that I hadn’t seen online. They were ALL amazing and I felt she has a very natural eye. I figured it was time to put my faith in her and go for it. Last minute I decided to add a lip lift (without doing any previous fillers before) and I love it, it was the icing on the cake. I am still healing and have some swelling, I am only 5 weeks out but I have no regrets and I love the results! So happy with my decision and the office. Couldn’t have gone better.

Hi there! You look amazing! I’m a week out from the same surgery with Dr Malone. I love her! My swelling is still very significant. Can I ask how long til your swelling went down enough to see friends and have no one know you did something
Hello sorry just saw this! Yes she is amazing!!! I believe about a month afterwards I went to a play with some friends and I was still fairly self conscious and had swelling but they said if I hadn’t told them they wouldn’t have known. The swelling under my chin lasted for quite awhile but was really only noticeable to me. Soon you won’t even remember you had it done!
Thanks so much for responding!! Yay it’s been a longer recovery than I think I had prepared for. My neck seems so thick but I know it’s probably only noticeable to me. I have to say that your results are a big reason I decided to meet dr malone. You look fantastic!!!!
Also I think we are around the same age. Many drs and people told me I was too young. But I was unhappy with my jowls and neck. I thought and researched 3 years. Glad I did it! I’ll be 45 in a couple weeks.
Awe thank you that means a lot! I wouldn’t normally share pics online but I was really impressed by Dr. Malone with the whole process, and wanted to share with others. Yeah I’m 46 and people thought I should wait too but I just didn’t feel like myself anymore and I’m so glad I did it. It looks so natural and I also have like zero scarring. You are still so early in your healing. I had a thick neck also, like the glands by my ears, it’ll go away tho I promise just give it time! Swelling means healing :)
How was the pain? This is what holds me back. I’m scared of the pain!!
I understand I had fear of that too but really it was so minimal that I don’t really remember much pain… I maybe took one pain pill after bandage came off. You have some swelling of course but it wasn’t painful
