Beautifully crafted and something that would help me ease into my later years

Review of Dr. Andrew Jacono
WORTH IT
On March 7, 2023, I made the best investment in my facial foundation
and my mental health that I could have made. After much research and consideration, I underwent a deep plane facelift with Dr. Andrew Jacono and his exceptional staff at his NYC office.
I live in the Washington, DC area. We practically ooze with gifted surgeons. I still researched my surgical options for my drooping neck and heavy jowling extensively for several years.
To me, major cosmetic procedures aren’t something to take lightly, but they shouldn’t be feared either if you do your due diligence. Give the decision regarding the choice of your procedures and your surgeon the respect and forethought they deserve.
I first became aware of Dr. Jacono’s notable surgical artistry when I read a lengthy article about the deep plane procedure he performed on fashion design icon Marc Jacobs in the NY Times about two years ago. It became clear after much more research that Dr. Jacono is not just a gifted surgeon, he’s a gifted sculptor. There's a big difference.
And he’s a warm, caring, and endlessly giving person. He donates his surgical skills to children who suffer from major facial challenges like cleft palates. That alone impressed me.
He’s also one of the internationally-known surgeons, other surgeons go to learn the latest procedures in the art of deep plane surgery. That, once again, told me everything.
If you are considering a deep plane facelift, read everything you can about your surgical options. If you need a great resource, read Dr. Jacono’s The Park Avenue Face. When I read it, I knew Dr. Jacono shared my vision - a natural, lifted, subtlely sleek revision, beautifully crafted and something that would help me ease into my later years. Without drama, trauma or pain. I was extremely swollen, and itchy when healing, but painful? Not really.
As for my results? I think they’re stunning! And they just keep getting better! I feel pretty amazing! Was it a quick fix? No. Was it inexpensive? No. But, this is your face. This surgery isn’t when you bargain shop.
Everyone has to judge for themselves what is worth investing in, and who will deliver exceptional results. For me, that was Dr. J.

My photo before my 3/2022 facial refresh with Dr. Jacono
This was taken right before my surgery. The drop of my jowls, upper and lower eyelids and cheeks are very evident, as is the neck banding and uneven skin sagging from a previous liposuction where the skin under my chin never protracted.

My hair is super short now, so it's not a 1to 1 comparison, but this is how I look today. I'm still very happy with my outcome. I'm 63 and feel that my decision to have Dr. Jacono repair my face was the best decision I could have made.
