Dr. Andrew Jacono Review - AMAZING Result!

I am SO happy I found Dr. Jacono! He and his staff are the best of the best! It has been eight weeks since my surgery and I am already so thrilled with the result! I would highly recommend him to anyone considering facial plastic surgery. He is as much an artist as he is a surgeon. When I met first met him it was clear he is passionate about his work and cares deeply about his patients. Renowned in his field, facial plastic surgeons from around the world visit him to learn surgical techniques he has pioneered. His ability to restore, balance and create a natural-looking result without looking “done” was very important to me.
For my sagging skin, 15 years ago I had a mini-lift by another surgeon that did not achieve a long-term result. This, along with many other signs of aging prompted several more years of research and consults with other surgeons. Only Dr. Jacono gave me confidence that he could achieve what needed to be done without looking pulled or surgerized. I am a happy, energetic, fit and healthy 55 year old woman. You wouldn’t have known it by looking at me from the neck up—even after the mini-lift 15 years ago!! My turkey wattle and jowls reappeared making me look overweight and out of shape, tired and sad. My face was aging rapidly! A handful of times, I was mistaken as my friend’s mother and my daughters’ grandmother! Unnerving to say the least. I always loved my smile but as I aged I began hating it. When I smiled my teeth no longer showed and my thinning lips flattened. I tried several non-surgical rejuvenation and injectable treatments over the years until I finally realized that surgery was my only option. Specifically Dr. Jacono addressed my: turkey wattle, heavy jowls, undefined jawline, down-turned corners of my mouth, thinning lips, lengthening upper lip, bags under my eyes, drooping upper eyelids, drooping nasal tip, loss of fat in my cheeks. Additionally the asymmetry in my face was becoming more apparent with age. Dr. Jacono performed: a deep plane facelift, platytsmaplasty, browlift, upper and lower eyelids, canthoplexy (or -plasty can’t recall which), eyelid ptosis repair, buccal fat extraction, rhinoplasty, fat grafting in my cheeks and lips and a lip lift. From the beginning, Dr. Jacono and his entire staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Patient coordinator Jamie was a tremendous help in planning my surgery. A total delight, Jamie was extremely thorough, efficient and patient answering my many questions. She also made traveling from another state for the surgery an effortless event. Office manager Jessica, has been extremely accommodating scheduling my post-op appointments to best suit my travel situation. She always makes me feel so welcome when I walk in the door! I was so fortunate my surgery fell during Dr. Kate O’Connor’s fellowship with Dr. Jacono. Extremely competent, super smart, down-to-earth, she assisted during my surgery and often was the person who responded to my several post-op questions.Dr. Jacono’s entire nursing staff has been so kind, caring and comforting. They too are super smart and don’t miss a beat. It is evident they are as passionate about their work as he is and just as committed to achieving the best outcome for every patient. The surgical nurses were moving swiftly at 5am the day of my surgery all while reassuring me and going beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. My post-op nurses Stephanie, Julie and Nicole took great care of me and have been (and continue to be!) so patient offering thorough explanations/suggestions/solutions any time I’ve reached out with questions. And they always get back with me quickly.My advice: do your homework. Research all you can and schedule consults with several board certified facial plastic surgeons. Read Dr. Jacono’s book, The Park Avenue Face, scour Instagram for before and after photos. I have learned so much by doing so and it is why I went with Dr. Jacono. My surgery was extensive and the healing continues but I can already see a natural, restored result! Thank you Dr. J!
