My partner's reaction, another tip, (22 days post) A funny story and last post for a while.

WORTH IT
Hello lovely ladies and gentlemen!

I'll start with the tip if you don't want to read the rest! Have some allergy medication on hand. When the nerves and the scars start healing, it could be itchy. The allergy meds help!

When I first told my partner of a year I wanted a FL she was not on board. While she supported me, she didn't want me to do it. I think she was picturing Joan Rivers! We couldn't be more different! I'm into skin care, makeup, fashion and eating plant based (nothing that had a mother) due to my love for animals.
She wears no sunscreen, loves steak, is 20 years younger. She's messy and I'm a neat freak . (We live apart, because I would kill her!)

I live in one of those trendy neighborhoods where 2 streets over it's shady and there is crime.
My partner was stuck overseas while working due to covid. She was suppose to be home this Friday.
I'm sitting in my bed watching true crime missing the company of my sweet German Shepherd who I had to put to sleep in February. All of a sudden I heard someone in my home . I meant to change the lock on my back door which was flimsy. I locked myself in my bedroom bathroom and called the police. The police arrived just as I heard my partners voice. She decided to surprise me with flowers and was looking for a vase. Argh! I hate surprises even though it was nice to see her. It was embarrassing but all ended well. As far as her reaction to my new look...she was pleasantly surprised.

Since I am healing well, this will be my last post. I will check maybe next year and see how it lasts.
I hope I was able to help as far as the healing and recovery process like you guys helped me!
Good luck to all !

Congratulations on your good result. It takes a certain degree of bravery to take this leap especially when your partner isn’t on board. I know that feeling.

For square faced ladies!

You know how we get hollow under our cheekbones when we get too thin? Especially when we get older?
A deep plane facelift is what will work better than a mini which was that I was going to go with.
For looking natural like JLO, do not waste your money on a mini lift!

Thank you! I am 54 as well with the same issues of hollowing under cheekbones. How did you sleep at first with the drains? I'm afraid I will be up all night because I don't do well on my back. Do you think 3 weeks off work is enough time?
I'm thinking of doing this in Mexico and saying I am on vacation.
Is it ok if I message you? TY for your detailed review.
I hope you continue to heal well. :)
Hi! Sure, you can message me. I slept ok (better than I thought the first week) but I did take pain meds as well as pills for anxiety which made me sleepy. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.
3 weeks should be ok but you probably will be a bit swollen.
I'm not sure where you live, but I would be afraid to go to a country that I am not familiar with. In the rare case you have a complication.
Sure, feel free to message me! :)
I have that hollow under the cheekbones and on the sides of my mouth. Does a deep plane facelift fill them up?
Yes. :). You probably have naturally high cheekbones and that's why it gets hollow with age!
The deep plane pulls the muscles up . You probably will save money on fillers if you get them. It's magical!
Yes that is true! I have natural high cheekbones and I hate the hollows! Thank you so much! Btw, Who did your surgery?
I would love to see your picture
A mini lift only pulls the skin and does not touch the SMAS. It's a one year facelift, a deep plane will give you 10 years.

3 weeks post today- Is it possible ......

To look too young? Lol. I'm loving my new jaw line! It looks more feminine , a bit more heart shaped face than square. My cheekbones are back to where they were without the sagging mid face .
I know people love the way they look a few weeks later. I'm looking forward to it loosening up a bit. I don't want to look 28 at 54, I just want to look great if that makes sense. That said, even if it stays like this I'm delighted, but I know it will look better at 3 months-12 months.
If you are a stomach/ side sleeper, you will wake up with swelling in your eyes but it gets better as the day progresses. I can finally sleep and my ears / temple areas don't hurt when the pillow is pressed on them.

I had drinks with a girlfriend 6 ft apart last night. I wore my hair in a pony tail and was waiting for her to say I looked different. She didn't say anything, so I asked her if I looked different and she kept looking at me and said "you look great, but I don't see it" . I told her and she couldn't believe it. She was a little mad that I didn't tell her before, but I knew she would have said, "you don't need it" and she laughed and said yes. Now she wants one too!

I just want to encourage the women (and men) if they are nervous to go for it!

I couldn't agree with you more. I mean, who would want to look like they're 28 years old when they're really 54? I've always looked younger than my real age even before I had a facelift. Everyone always thinks I'm my granddaughter's mother. I just hate that. You know what I mean, right?
Not really.
You don't know what I mean? But you wrote this: "I don't want to look 28 at 54, I just want to look great if that makes sense."
Why waste time commenting if it's not productive?
I'm trying to help build women's confidence up and encourage them on something that makes them feel good about themselves. If you don't want to read my review don't.
You said my review was ridiculous, so MOVE ON! You sound jealous for some reason.
I'm not jealous. You sound like you're full of yourself. Giving advice as is sharing your experience but comparing yourself with the likes of supermodels is just absurd. Get a grip. Women like you give women like me a bad rap. Humility. See if you can buy some.
*Giving advice as is sharing your experience is great but...*
I'm not comparing myself to super models . Just because I am happy with the way I look does not give you reason to put me down. I'm posting pictures of a similar face shape that ages a CERTAIN way. I that you had a facelift and are unhappy. I'm sorry about that, but it's no reason to be rude to women who feel good about themselves.
I'm not being rude, Scarlett.
Not sure what that means, but you clearly have time on your hands to harass people.
Move on .
You had drinks with a friend and she did not notice anything, so how could you look 28 when your 54 and she did not notice.? I think you are confusing swelling with youth. This whole diary seems weird and I don't trust people with no pics possibly just an advertising for dr, Who knows...
