Deep Plane Face Lift and Neck Lift

I've always looked younger than my age, but in the past year 1/2 I looked tired and old, my usual tight skin was so flaccid that when I looked in the mirror I couldn't believe my neck. I don't have many wrinkles, I'm 64 years old but still feel pretty young at heart and my energy just didn't match my face. So I knew it was time for a facelift. This is the best decision I have made. I'm extremely happy with my results only 14 days after my procedure.
I chose Dr. Chopra as he came highly recommended and his excellent work, I looked at all the before and after pictures of his patients and after a consultation I knew he was the one. I scheduled an appoint and Dr. Chopra explained the procedure thoroughly, told me how I was going to feel afterwards, specially my neck was going to feel really tight and I may have the sensation that I couldn't swallow. I was so grateful for all the explanations because I'm a bit of a nervous person and for sure I would have thought I was having an allergic reaction to something. LOL. I was never in pain after the procedure, just a mild headache that 2 Tylenols took care of right away. I only took Tylenol for 2 days after my procedure. From the 2nd day forward I never had any pain at all anywhere. Honestly I never felt pain, just a slight discomfort which is normal. The tightness in my neck subsided a bit on the 2nd day, and each day after that has been getting progressively better.
The first night I stayed at an overnight facility as recommended by my doctor, I had very little drainage and the drain was removed the day after surgery at my doctors office.
What was most important to me was to look natural and rested. That is exactly the results I'm seeing 14 days after my procedure. I was always afraid of having a facelift and end up looking like I was permanently in a wind tunnel. I am so grateful to Dr. Chopra and his team for taking good care of me and giving me a younger version of myself.
To be honest if there are any cons to this procedure is just the head strap that you have to wear 24/7. But after a couple of days you become accustomed to it that you don't even know your'e wearing it. You have to sleep with your head elevated, that for me was not a problem, I have an adjustable bed and I thought sleeping on my back was going to be an issue as I am a side sleeper, but that too has not a problem for me.
Overall, for me it was worth doing it. Dr. Chopra tells me this procedure will be good for 10 years or longer. What more can I ask for? I'm happy with my results at 14 days I can imagine what it will be like in another 14 days.

I forgot to mention that I had fat transfer under my eyes and cheeks, and blepharoplasty or eyelid reduction during my deep plane face lift and platysmaplasty (neck lift). Dr. Chopra suggested that these procedures be included to give me that overall refreshed look.
