The Art of Looking Younger Without Looking “Done”

I went back and forth about including photos because I initially wanted to keep this part of my journey private. But I remember how valuable it was for me to see real patient results when I was researching surgeons and trying to make such an important decision. If sharing my photos can help even one person who is where I was before surgery, I think it's worth it. I'm approximately 11 weeks post-op in these photos and still healing, but I'm already so happy with how natural I look.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Chung and his assistant, Courtney. From my very first consultation through my surgery and recovery, I felt genuinely listened to, cared for, and confident that I had chosen the right surgeon.

One of my biggest concerns going into facial surgery was that I did not want to change the way I looked. I wasn't trying to become a different person or dramatically alter my features. I also really appreciated his approach throughout the entire process. Facial surgery is a big decision, and recovery can bring a lot of questions and emotions as swelling changes and your face continues to settle. Dr. Chung was patient, reassuring and attentive to my concerns. I never felt dismissed or rushed. He took my questions seriously and made sure I understood what was normal during each stage of healing.

Courtney deserves just as much recognition. She has been absolutely wonderful throughout the entire experience. She is kind, responsive, patient and incredibly supportive. Having someone like Courtney available during the recovery process made such a difference. Whether I had a question, needed reassurance or simply wanted to make sure something I was experiencing was normal, I always felt comfortable reaching out.

Now that I'm further into my recovery and can really see my results taking shape, I'm incredibly happy with my decision. My face looks refreshed and youthful, my features still look like me, and nothing looks overdone or artificial. People don't look at me and immediately think I've had surgery—they simply see a more rested and refreshed version of me. To me, that is the mark of an exceptionally talented facial plastic surgeon.

Choosing someone to operate on your face requires an enormous amount of trust. I am so grateful that I trusted Dr. Chung. His surgical skill, attention to detail and commitment to natural-looking results are exceptional, and the care I received from both him and Courtney made the entire experience even better.
